Great head gear, the fit and protection are great! I had fightr brand before and felt everything and the fit sucked. I got this head gear and its a completely different experience! It's Fairtex so of course its fantastic! Everything Fairtex is fantastic!

This is the best headgear I have ever owned, worn, or seen, for that matter. I am 5'11 @180#. The circumference of my head above my eyebrows is 22.5 inches. I bought the medium size. Fits a little snug, which is how I prefer my fight gear to wear. As this product is all finely crafted from genuine leather, I expect it to loosen up a bit with a couple of weeks of hard training. My other Fairtex gear (4oz. gloves, shins) has been form fitted to my extremities, and has become an extension of my body. I assume the headgear will be no different. This piece of equipment provides excellent protection for the entire head and remains unobtrusive to the wearer's vision. Very streamlined design makes this gear a joy to put on and move in. One could even do some grappling with this gear on. The closure at the back of the head is very secure hook and loop, and ties in to the padding at the top of the head. Quite possibly the only headgear on the market pushing the envelope and bridging the gap between kickboxing and mma. TOP NOTCH PRODUCT FROM FAIRTEX!!!!! OSSSSSS!

This headgear is really good!. I was concerned about my nose(i've got two surgeries in the past) and was looking for something to protect while not impairing my vision. HG13 has all of those features, and it is very light weight(you don't really feel it). Im 6 inches tall, and a pretty big head(58 cm, i bought the XL size), and i can tell you, this headgear protects my nose, my mouth, ears and eyes really well. I've received some strong punches straight on my nose, and i barely feel the glove touching the tip of my nose (very mildly, nothing to be concerned). Make sure you choose the right size for your head because that's what is going to protect your nose, if the size is too small, chances are, it won't protect your nose as it's supposed too. Great investment, don't cheap out!

Inside and out, this headgear is brilliant. Chin guard, nose protection with the angle in the forehead and added cheek padding. Dense enough to absorb impact. Leather inside and out (doesn't slip and slide). Easy hook and loop removal on the back. I've purchases several Fairtex products, especially their gloves, and believe it's the best brand that you can buy for its price.

After trying 2 other styles of headgears and had to return them due to sizing and style comfort, this one is the keeper. It's pretty light, solid construction and pricing is reasonable recomparing to other higher end gear. Size L fit my teen's head who wears a S/M in motorcycle helmet. There is about 1 inch of velcro short in the back, but this will be ok as I heard leather headgears stretch over time. For now it fits snugged and secure. Can't comment on durability just yet.

Only giving it 4 to 5 stars because I wish it came in a slightly larger size. I have a fairly bigger head size which is 23.5 cm and this one just wasn’t cutting it even with the Velcro in the back being at the very end of the mark. Padding wise is extremely well done and made so you will definitely be protected if you were to be punched just by touching it and feeling it compared to other ones. I hope fair tax is able to make one for a larger heads than their largest size. Unfortunately, this was inhibiting my vision, and was annoying me a tad bit with my chin.

Meine Tochter benötigte fürs Kickboxen Ausrüstung. Nachdem ich mich mehrfach belesen habe bin ich auf Fairtex gekommen und habe die komplette Ausrüstung von Fairtex bestellt. Die Qualität erschien mir hervorragend von der Verarbeitung des Leders/ der Materialien. Allerdings sollte meiner Erfahrung nach, eher eine Nummer kleiner bestellt werden. Leider kam die Ausrüstung nicht zum Gebrauch, da diese nicht durch die WAKO zugelassen ist.

Good fit and lots of extra padding.
