Highwild AR500 Steel Target for Shooting 1/2" Thick Gong Silhouette Metal Target - Laser Cut - Neon Color

I bought these targets for our shooting trips in the desert. We set them up about 150-175 yards away on a rocky hillside and the targets performed perfectly.They are a very bright neon yellowish green, so you can still see them when they are a ways out. The steel itself is very thick. Thick enough to take a ton of .308 shots and not even come close to denting.The paint, of course gets shot off but a new can of bright spray paint will fix that the next time we go shooting.The targets definitely have some weight to them so just be prepared to be out of breath if you are carrying them far out and up a steep hill! You definitely will get your cardio workout putting them up and retrieving them after you are done shooting.Pricewise, these were the best that I could find for this thickness of steel. We would definitely buy these again but probably won't need to, since they look to last for decades if kept out of the elements when storing.

Solid product. We hit it with anything from 17HMR to 300WM and took it like a champ.

I've shot these with everything from 38 Special to 45 Colt and they've been very durable. Just repaint and you're ready to go.

First off, the manufacturer put such a nice powder coat on this that I almost didn't want to shoot it... almost. Though the powder coat does do a great job of protecting the surfaces I haven't shot.I mount this to a 2x4 with HighWild's bracket, and this definitely makes some noise! Even my .22LR revolver makes this 1/2" AR500 steel ring loudly, yet I've blasted it with as much as a .45acp, 230gr FMJ from 10yds, and not a hint of damage.This was not my first HighWild target, though it was my first steel - I bought other steel I wasn't as happy with - I think I'm going back to HighWild for the next purchase.
