light, airy, crisp, perfect for use in my Onigiri/Musubi making kit
This review is for the pack of "Sea Salt" seaweed.Ingredients: Seaweed, Canola Oil, Sesame Oil, Salt, Green Tea Powder, Herb Tea ExtractExactly as expected. Smells as it should, has taste and texture as it should. Light, crisp, airy. If you havent had it before, it looks like big pieces of seaweed, but once you stuff it in your mouth, it dissolves down to just a tiny amount. Kind of reminds me of cotton candy in that way. But that is as far as comparisons go, lol. I have been noshing on seaweed of this style on and off for a couple of decades. I like it best for use in dishes, like miso and for quick musubi/onigri/sushi using my Mold Set . Click that link to see what I mean. Works perfectly. Could be ground up and sprinkled on eggs, noodles, or garbanzo bean based "tuna" salad. I may try the wasabi next, but for most part a simple salt flavor or no flavor is fine for me.

Hi. My name is Jane and I'm a seaweed-holic
It started with a sale I noticed on Amazon, a reduced price on a 6-pack of toasted seaweed snack packages from Gimme. They were touted as nutritious, lots of Vitamin B12 and looked more healthy than traditional chip snacks so I added them to my subscription delivery.About 5 minutes after they arrived and I'd tried one or maybe 3 or 4 because I can't remember how many thanks to the euphoria of discovering toasted seaweed, I was bemoaning the fact that I hadn't ordered a few dozen more. I logged back in and found I could buy them in these here 20-packs. I had learned from my mistake so I signed up for five 20 packs in a variety of flavors. Waiting for delivery proved impossible but luckily my nearby Asian market carried a stop-gap seaweed fix so I stop-gap stocked up. The price was nearly the same as on Amazon.I have now tried this brand, Gimme, in Chili Lime, EVOO, Sea Salt, Sea Salt and Avocado Oil, Teriyaki, and Wasabi. Every single one of them is great. Teriyaki is slightly sweet but not cloying, Wasabi has medium heat level spiciness, Chili Lime is mild and I couldn't detect much taste of lime. My favorites turned out to be the 3 simplest ones: EVOO, Sea Salt, and Sea Salt with Avocado Oil. For me, the natural seaweed flavor just doesn't need much embellishment.I try to hold myself to a daily consumption of no more than 2 packs so I don't turn my arteries to granite from the salt intake but it's a struggle and I must fail a lot because I usually order three 20 packs per month and they rarely last 3 weeks. I drink a lot of water and usually nothing but water so fingers crossed and hoping I can find the strength to control myself but this month I ordered seven 20-packs because there was another ***SALE!!!***. Get thee behind me, Demon Seaweed, and please stop being so delicious.Notes: The smell and taste are slightly fishy but not repulsive. The sheets are quite thin but I like that. They're a bit salty, drink lots of water.

Crispy, Light, and Addictively Delicious!
I’ve tried several brands of roasted seaweed snacks, and this one is definitely one of the best! Here’s what I love:Taste & Texture (5/5)The light saltiness and crispiness make these so satisfying! The seaweed is perfectly roasted—not too oily or too dry. It has that umami-rich flavor without being overpowering. I also appreciate that the sea salt enhances the natural taste without making it too salty.📦 Packaging & Freshness (5/5)Each individually wrapped pack keeps the seaweed super fresh and crispy. No stale or chewy pieces so far! The small portion size is great for snacking or adding to meals.🥗 Versatility (5/5)I love eating these on their own, but they’re also great for:✔ Wrapping around rice or avocado slices✔ Crumbling over salads or soups for extra crunch✔ Pairing with kimchi or spicy tuna for a quick snack🛒 Value for Money (4.5/5)For a 20-pack, the price is very reasonable, especially if you go through these quickly like I do! Some brands sell smaller packs for the same price. The only minor downside is that each pack is small (about 5-6 sheets), so they disappear fast.✅ Final VerdictIf you love light, crunchy, and savory snacks, these are a must-try! The convenient individual packs make them perfect for on-the-go snacking, lunchboxes, or a quick salty craving.

Love these!
I have been trying to get into eating seaweed sometime after I get up because it has a great amount of B12 & Iodine & I strongly believe getting vitamins is best through food instead of man-made vitamins. I feel like that is a great way to start the day, but the thought of eating seaweed first thing in the morning was not appealing to me at all. I had to force myself to eat it & often times didn't. I've been buying Ocean's Halo because that's what my local Walmart sells but I saw Gimme Seaweed on Amazon & like their variety choices better. I bought this pack & really enjoyed trying the different flavors. I had got to where I was even looking forward to eating them every morning. They are greasy from the oil so make sure you have a napkin or sink nearby. The texture is perfect, just the right amount of crisp. All of the flavors are just hints of flavor. None of them are strong & I couldn't even taste the Toasted Sesame. My least favorite was Wasabi but that's only because I'm not a fan of spicy. Thankfully it was only a hint of spicy. I was able to eat it & I actually like it. Teriyaki is a tad sweet. Sea Salt had just a hint, it wasn't salty.I really enjoyed all of the flavors. I'm not sure which one is my favorite, they're all very good. This isn't bad mouthing Ocean's Halo at all. I still enjoy Ocean's Halo but between the two it's really a preference thing. Gimme Seaweed is a little more crispy than Ocean's Halo, & both have different varieties.
