TSM Decorative Fermenting Crock Pot, 5 Liter

I'd been making sauerkraut for a few years using a large glass jug and meat pounder! Needless to say, the first batch I made in this fermenting crock blew the others away. I love this piece! Not only is it very solid, well-made and attractive, but the water seal feature helps make the most crisp, delicious sauerkraut possible. I plan to buy the stone weights to use with this, but even without, I only had a small amount of discoloration of the cabbage that was on the surface. This piece is small, but don't let that fool you - it still holds a lot of sauerkraut! I used about 4 medium heads for my first batch, which after 3 weeks I transferred to mason jars.

absolutely beautiful! It didn't come with a fermenting weight like most of the other fermenting crocks do and for the price I think it should have included one. but the crock is so spectacular it is almost forgivable! Definitely something to leave out on the counter even when not in use!

This fermentation crock is not only beautiful but works wonderfully. It is not too large to move about and the fermentation lock lets you know the fermentation is working as it bubbles away.

This is a beautiful, high quality fermenting crock. Solid. Good weight. Lovely on the kitchen counter. Makes delicious sauerkraut, slaw, and pickles. Pretty much goof proof. Love it!

Perfect. Been used for half- sour pickles. Small enough to go directly from counter to icebox.
