I purchased this mobile when my son was about 2 months old and it has been a lifesaver! High-contrast colors are very sensory and great for baby’s development. The gentle music and lights help calm my son when he's fussy and encourage him to focus and track the moving objects. The mobile is easy to attach to the crib rail, or bassinet rail, and the arm extends out far enough to keep it out of his reach. I like that it has 5 different melodies so I can change it up. The music volume is adjustable too. My son is now 3 months old and still loves watching the mobile spin. The lights and music hold his attention for 10-15 minutes at a time, which is great for tummy time or when I need to put him down for a minute. I feel it's helping with his visual development and tracking skills. The only downside is the music can get repetitive after awhile. But overall, this mobile is a great value and I highly recommend it for newborns and young infants. It's a simple way to provide visual stimulation and soothe your baby. I expect we'll get a lot more use out of it in the coming months.

Overall, we're happy with this purchase. Smooth circling of hypnotizing minipillows? Check! Easy to assemble? Check! Easy to clean? Check! Is it stable when assembled and positioned correctly by sleep-deprived parents who can barely read directions that it doesn't come with? Check! Is the music quiet? Hahahaha....no. This is where the mobile falls short. Even on its quietest "sneak-a-donut-while-the-kids-are-sleeping" mode, the mobile is loud. It's loudest setting is probably what Satan uses as his alarm clock. Another downside is that you have to adjust the volume every. Single. Time. It also doesn't help that the volume buttons are the same as the "next" and "previous" buttons so you have to hold down the button for what feels like an eternity. That being said, even with the cons of this mobile, we'd still order it again as it's well made and the dangly bits are positioned so baby can actually see the high contrast images.

Great item

I love how the mobile and decorations are actually facing the baby. I also like that there are multiple songs, you can skip a song or go back, adjust the volume, and even turn the music off while allowing it to still spin. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because it was a little pricey, and then I had to purchase an additional arm from a different seller because I needed one that could clamp down for use on the pack and play. It would be great if you had the choice of what type of arm to purchase.

I bought this for our youngest child, and he loves it! He is 3 months old now and loves to follow as it spins. He is quick to calm when I turn it on if he’s been fussing, and it keeps him happily entertained if I need to lay him down for a little bit to get things done. It was a little awkward to attach to our pack n play in our room, and it needs to be tightened from time to time, or else the arm will tip over, but I would imagine it will hopefully do a better job of staying up once we transition it to his crib. I do wish the mobile had adjustable volume, but it’s not too loud, no too quiet most times. I like the mode options for music/rotation, just music without rotation, and rotation without music, as well as being able to switch melodies.

This lovely mobile is more than I could have hoped for. The piece itself is decorated in black and white with felt pictures of animals that face down so the baby can see them. It moves slowly and can be used with or without music. The music is real piano music-not canned, tinny electronic tunes. The songs are children’s songs played gently with a volume control. There are several songs that play. It turns off by itself. This is so well thought out. I highly recommend this. Bravo to the creator.

Package: very well package in a box, inside content wrapped in tissue paper. Install: Very easy. It takes like around 15 minutes to put it together. Music: last 30 minutes, different lullabies. All of them very soothing, good invite for baby sleep. Rotation: clockwise only. Batteries: 2 AA. Not included, must unscrew back cover to insert them. Buttons: 4, power, music/rotation, back and forth (for music). Accessories: you can get independent accessories to switch figures/ colors. The music/rotation button has the following options depending on how many times you depress the button: rotation alone, music alone, music and rotation together. The baby was given to, seems to love it. He stares at the figures, and calms down with the music. I recommend this product.
