Update: 10/22After contacting the vendor about the adapter 10mo. ago, they sent me a replacement, but the new adapter doesn't even have good connection. Good thing is this lamp comes with USB cable, so I just use it with my other chargers, or even my computers USB port. Lamp still works fine.Pros:Good value, can be used cordless for portability, nice adjustable, simple single button with 3 level of brightness.Cons:Base is not very stable and can be tipped over fairly easily for regular desktop use. Also the wall USB adapter seems to be of a cheap quality, it makes a noticeable hum while plugged in. Once plugged into a spare cellphone USB adapter, no more humming. Anything that is plugged into the included adapter will cause it to make the high pitch sound.Overall a good product, just make sure you fold it up when not in use so it doesn't get knocked over easily. I would not recommend using the included adapter for safety reasons. It may not be enough light for some if used by itself, but adds just enough local lighting in addition to my other lights.

UPDATE: ordered a different brand after sending my first Premer back for reason below. It was made from cheap plastic, so I decided not to keep it. Based on all the good reviews, decided to order another Premer for a second look. Great! Works fine. Four stars. Would be five, except for the trouble of it all.Sent it back because the lamp kept turning itself on. Maybe it defective part or cord with so many great ratings. Nice and heavy to stay balanced on my big oak headboard and not tip over & bang me on my head. Liked the varied light settings. Holds charge for at least 8 hrs after usb charge. I wanted to burn it down before shipping back so it would not turn on in box. It lasted a nice long time.

Awesome Desk lamp with more than enough configurationsIt has 3 settings of brightness and the higher 2 are adequate for reading in the dark. Gets about 4 hours time on the highest setting. Its strong and sturdy and USB charging makes it easy to charge on the Go, in the car, or from my laptop, meaning that i need less wall plugs since i can charge from the laptop.I agree that it takes longer to charge than it does to use, so i bought 2 and exchange them when i need to.Its really made my work more efficient since its portable

Love this lamp! Especially the fact that once it's charged (and it charges quickly) you can move it around wherever you need. I sometimes have to record video reviews and at night my room light doesn't provide enough for video blogging. With this lamp, I can just turn it on wherever I'm situated, angle it as I need and I have sufficient light for a clear video/picture. And the ease with which it opens up and collapses makes it perfect for small spaces. When I'm not using it, it's lying flat on my desk. When opened, it's very sturdy. I've got no concerns of it tipping over. Great product!

So far I've used it just once and like it a lot. Very small footprint, which is great because it doesn't interfere with the book you are reading if it is on the table. The brightness is fine.But its description says it gives 8 hours of light after only one charge. I haven't tried that out, because it says it takes 8 hours to charge it back up. But it says (the few words in English that are there - the majority of the directions are in Chinese) that it is "full of electricity for 4 hours" not 8, but that it takes 8 hours to charge it.

I needed a reading lamp to sit atop a small wedge shaped table between two arm chairs. It needed to be cordless and rechargeable and small enough to fold up and put on the bottom shelf when not in use. This lamp fits the bill 100%. I have used it with an overhead ceiling light on as well as the sole light when reading and have not felt any eye strain or lack of illumination. The rotating head is a huge bonus as it allows me to shine the light exactly where I need it. So far it has gone several hours on its first charge. Very good product for the money and it fills the need when there is no outlet plug available.

This is an excellent desk lamp. We use it for task lighting at our kitchen work station. We power it from a spare USB port off our HP All-In-One and it has proven itself over and over. Efficient, variable brightness control, small footprint,- what is not to like? Light output is even and color correct. We are going to buy another for use as a task light for our tool bench. This lamp, although lightweight, works well and is easy to set up. I have it on my computer desk, angled to shine on the keyboard, on its lowest setting (of 3), and plugged into my USB hub. Even on low, it's brighter plugged in than running on battery. The lightest touch changes the brightness settings. Love that I can tilt the lamp head side-to-side as well as up-and-down for a perfect angle.
