TPMS Sensor Replacement for 2016 Toyota Prius V
I recently purchased the 4 Pack TPMS Sensor Replacement for my Toyota Prius V, and I must say, I am highly impressed with this product. From the moment I received it, I could tell that it was well packaged and protected, ensuring that the sensors arrived in perfect condition. One of the standout features of this TPMS Sensor Replacement is the inclusion of a comprehensive manual. The manual provided clear and concise instructions, making the installation process a breeze. Even for someone with limited technical knowledge like myself, I found it easy to follow the step-by-step guide and successfully installed all four sensors in no time.Furthermore, these sensors are an ideal fit for my Toyota. They work flawlessly with my car's TPMS system, providing accurate and reliable tire pressure monitoring. I have noticed a significant improvement in the precision of the readings compared to the previous sensors.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the 4 Pack TPMS Sensor Replacement for Toyota. It is a well-packaged product that comes with a helpful manual, ensuring effortless installation. Not a good purchase.
Out of 4 units 2 of the TPS units didn't even last a year. My previous TPS sensors lasted me over 9 years. Here is an answer from GOOGLE#Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors typically last between 5 and 10 years. However, the battery in these sensors is not replaceable, so once it reaches the end of its lifespan, the entire sensor needs to be replaced.

Great for Toyota Prius 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen
I used these on the 2nd generation and 3rd generation Prius (2007 and 2013) and they're great. The factory Toyota OE sensors lasted over 10 years each but they're about 8X more expensive than these. I have a TPMS programmer to scan these then upload them to the OBD system of my cars. If you want to save $ you can just break the bead and install these yourself, just youtube it. I think any home mechanic should have a tire programmer to check TPMS sensors and program their car. Overall. These are great for the price. What I don't know is how long these will last. If they last at least 5 years then these are a total bargain over OE parts.

Good replacement.
I was hoping to get Costco to install these when mounting my snow tires, but they only will install their own sensors for $50 each. Looking at a way to install these using a hydraulic jack and a trailer hitch to break the bead. It also looks like the only way to sync these up with a Toyota is a $400 bidirectional scan tool. Weighing my options of going all in on this, or paying twice a year to reset the car, or just ignoring the TPMS light all together.

Nothing But Trouble
These sensors were initially compatible with my 2013 Toyota Prius. I had them installed by America's Tire for $60 labor. They were programmed successfully and worked fine for about 3 weeks. Then the problems started...One of the sensors decided to "unpair" itself from the vehicle after a few weeks, resulting in the dreaded TPMS malfunction light on the dash. I took the car to America's Tire and they used their TMPS scan tool to reprogram the TPMS via the car's OBD-II port. Unfortunately this is the only way to do a TPMS relearn on my vehicle. America's Tire was nice enough to do this for free, since I had paid for TPMS installation recently. The sensors then worked fine for about 3 days before malfunctioning again. I took the car back to America's Tire and they did another TPMS relearn for free. This one lasted about 24 hours before the TPMS light came back on again. So basically, these cheap sensors have to be constantly re-paired to the vehicle. I should have just spent the extra money for OEM. Lesson learned.

TPS light is back on again
The TPS sensor light is back on four months after my mechanic installed them on all four tires. I'm now being told that I need to replace at least one of them again. I have to pay the diagnosis fee to determine whether it's only one or more tires.
