The best sound blanket. In my home the hvac system is in a closet in the middle of the house, 12 feet away from my bed. I upgraded the unit and found it to be too noisy. I hung these sound blankets just on the inside of the door way and it has made the furnace/air handler noise very quiet. I am very appreciative of this product. I told the hvac people I would have to tone down the noise or move. These sound blankets saved me from a move I did not want to do.

We rent a small 2-floor home and my wife's office is essentially the upstairs landing. Being that there is no door separating the downstairs from the upstairs, we were looking for a solution to give her more privacy while teaching over Zoom (she's an acting teacher/coach)... and me more freedom of movement downstairs when she's teaching. We wanted something we could take up and down so we decided to give this a try. I just put 2 panels up today using robe hooks (our landing was too wide for just one) and at this moment she's on a Zoom meeting. Such an improvement!! As expected, I can still hear that she's talking but I can't hear what is being said. Downstairs, I can feel free to do things like run the microwave, or the faucet, or crinkle shopping bags and it doesn't disturb her. So glad we gave this a try! The only thing I wish is that they also sold the panels in a slightly wider size so I didn't have to deal with and store two of them, but that said, I'm still very pleased with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. So first off I record audiobooks in a home studio. I have two of these over my office windows and one over the door. After some testing I found they gave me about a -5.5 db background noise reduction. That might not be enough for you but I want every bit of silence I can get. Using these in conjunction with my booth really helps get my noise floor super low.That being said the included mounting hardware and just the design of the curtains is awful. Putting them up and taking them down at the beginning and end of every day of work was just not worth it for me. I want to have the natural light of my windows when I’m not recording and to be able to use the door easily, without hefting a blanket every time I have to leave to get water or whatever. Every day I had to get the step ladder out, find a place for these huge heavy blankets…no. No way. But then I had the idea to mount them on a sliding track (I used ChadMade Ceiling or Wall Mount Track Kit) and it has been SO much more convenient! Now I actually have them up and can just slide them aside. It’s fantastic. Love it. But with the just regular mounting hardware? Almost too much of a pain to use for such a small benefit.

The material is very thin and it was destroyed within a week. I never noticed a significant difference in the sound but it probably would have worked with the door sealer kit they recommend.

We bought this to go over a home office door in our rental home. I wish it was a bit bigger because it did not cover the (normal sized) door fully, so we had to buy 2 to really notice a difference. But once we did, it was great. The office door opens up to the kitchen/living room area which is busy and sometimes loud, but my partner has no issues with focusing on work or noise during calls. Our previous home had custom sound curtains at 3x the price of these, so we were not expecting these to be as good, but they are!

However, our experience with this product has been disappointing, to say the least.Firstly, upon receiving the product, we found it to be excessively heavy, making it challenging to hang up as intended. Additionally, the sheet arrived with noticeable wrinkles, almost resembling damage. Despite attempting to smooth out the wrinkles, they persisted, detracting from the overall aesthetic and functionality of the product.After struggling with installation for a mere two hours, we decided to return the product. To our dismay, the seller deducted a significant portion of the original purchase price for return shipping, leaving us with a refund far below what we had paid initially.Despite reaching out to the seller multiple times over the course of a year, they have remained unyielding in their refusal to provide a full refund, leaving us dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service experience.This is our worst experience with Amazon. We had to chase after the seller, and the seller just refused to issue the full refund. Amazon left us dry.In summary, the Udimute Isolé Sound Barrier and Sound Absorption Sheet failed to meet our expectations due to its weight, appearance upon arrival, and the unsatisfactory resolution of the refund process. We cannot recommend this product to others based on our experience.

I am very disappointed to find that this thing is about 2 inches too small to cover the space at the bottom of the door.This is a soundproof blanket, made for doors. The largest amount of sound that makes it past a door comes through the bottom gap. So the fact that I can’t cover this gap renders this thing almost pointless.Yes it would fit if I could attach the blanket directly to the top of the door itself, rather than the frame above. But I would need a solid door for that. The reason I need to soundproof with a blanket is BECAUSE I don’t have a solid door.I just don’t see why they can’t account for this and make the thing a tiny bit longer.
