Electric Start Kit Starter Motor Flywheel Switch for GX240 8HP GX270 9HP US Stock

Product included everything that I needed my only complaint would be that they really need to include instructions. I’m not sure if any of the kits in Amazon include instructions though. A link to a professionally done video would be even better. The YouTube videos that I saw helped a lot but don’t exactly explain things in the order they should be done but I did get through it and it works perfectly.

There are no instructions in the box nor on the Internet. It is easy to install if you have a little bit of mechanical knowledge. Works extremely well and is a lifesaver since I have multiple sclerosis and no strength for pull starting.

Some mechcanical and electrical ability is required, internet research will help with lack of instructions. I was able to install and works fine. Will be a big improvement in starting since I'm over 70. Parts and seller were great (Chinese packing was not very good lucky all parts arrived) Gets 4 stars for no instructions and I knew it didn't.

Switch box - every one - is either not wired correctly and is missing key parts (oil alert) If you purchase by the Honda oem box - it cost 2x this entire kit, but it works perfectly

Starter does not engage with Flywheel when turned with battery. Unit did not work. Spent $100 for nothing. I contacted the company that shipped it to us and send them images and videos. It’s been almost 3 weeks since and no response from them at all. My pressure cleaner has since stoped working and the flywheel seems to be completely stuck now. There where no instructions so I don’t even know if I have the charging coil plugged to the right wire.
