I purchased one spool initially for shark fishing. I chose the 80# Braid and was a bit skeptical at first because it wasn't the typical line I'd been using. I can say now that after a couple seasons that this line has held up and exceeded my expectations. I've taken my reels down to South Carolina fishing for sharks and redfish and it worked amazing. 6' sharks (the largest I caught)....no problem! The line lays on nicely on my reels, casts very well and I can spool up multiple reels due to the large spool sizes Reaction Tackle sells. I chose the lime green and there has been no fading. Great product!

I put this line on my Shimano Cardiff and so far seems really strong smooth and nice. The colors are really cool and it’s a really good price compared to some brands. I also have this line in 30 Pound Blue Camo on my Shimano SLX DC and it looks awesome and is really strong. I would definitely recommend this line.

I have used monofilament line for about 50 years. This is my first foray into the world of braided line and I have to say it has not been hard at all. You need to spool it tight. You may need to use some backing or tape to secure it on your spool depending on what reel you fish with, but it casts good, has zero memory and is VERY tough. I've not had a chance to use it long term, but from what I've seen, I might be swapping over where appropriate. There is a learning curve to tying knots and it feels very different, but it is super sensative and has no stretch. This might be a good or a bad thing depending on your style of fishing, but that is up to each individual fisherman to decide. This line is pretty inexpensive and I think it gives you the real braid experience so you can make an informed decision. It has been working for me on both baitcasting and spinning gear. It is different and in does take some time and use to get used to it, but I can definitely see the utility here. If it keeps performing the way it has been, I will be putting it on more reels.

We make annual trips to the Texas coast to fish and this year I ordered new line for all of our rigs. I got various colors to differentiate between our various "fishermen". My wife loved the pink, I chose blue and we mixed and matched the other rods/reels.These braided lines seem to hold up tremendously while catching a variety of fish. Our normal fishing trips include catching sharks, stingrays, redfish, jacks, etc. and the lines do get a workout.We didn't have any lines break this trip which is rare.This line appears to be high quality material and it is eye-catching.

Not all these braids are equal comparing test pound to test pound with the various colors. Some colors feel like bakery twine (the kind bakery's use to wrap cake boxes), frays very easily and breaks easily (7# bass breaking 15# line with a 10# leader[the braid broke, not the leader]). I found this true with colors: Blue Camo, Camo Aqua, and Camo USA for examples, but Green Moss seems like it made of different material and seems more true to braided line. This is true with the 4 or 8 braided lines.If you are going to buy this braid, I would buy the moss green in either thread count. Be cautious with the green moss, the ink bleeds off it quickly (like your first couple of casts). All over your hands and rod.

I ordered this line after using fireline for over 10 years. The price has gone up so much for what you get that I started searching for a cheaper strong alternative. I bought the 500 meter roll of moss green and it works very well. I can cast further then with Fire line and have caught a bunch of fish over 10 lbs this season. The largest being 18 lb Northern pike. It worked flawlessly and I was able to pull in the fish without issue! I would buy this line again. Now the only thing I don't know is how long it will last but if it lasts for 3 to 5 years and I can catch 500 to 1500 fish with it. That would be a win in my opinion.
