Mercer Culinary Straight Spatula, 4.25 Inch, Stainless Steel , Black

I recently switched to a yogurt-based, low-cholesterol "butter" spread (it's actually really tasty) and had been wanting a special spreader for it. Actually, I had been wanting one of these palette-knife cake decorating looking spreaders for some time. I checked the measurements, and the 4.25" length looked like it would work best for my needs.And it has really worked great. It's obviously well made, and not flimsy. I had no problem removing the sticker from the blade- I just peeled it up very slowly, and it came off cleanly in one piece. If you have problems with the sticker I would get a single-sided razor blade or a scraper with one of those blades in it, and scrape the sticker off as best you can, and then put it in a shallow pan, add some water, and boil the water. Keep an eye on it. It should take about five minutes and the glue will break down and get very stringy and can be wiped off. You can repeat the boiling step if the blade still has residue. My mom used to do this with stubborn stickers on cookware, and it works well. Just remember to watch the pot, so the water doesn't boil away. Also obviously wash everything really well to get rid of any adhesive in the pot or on the spreader.It spreads everything really well- my fake butter, real butter, jam, preserves, chunky stuff, smooth stuff like mayo. I use it a lot when making a sandwich. It's a great all-purpose tool I find myself reaching for often. I only wish I had ordered it a lot longer time ago! Recommended.

This is probably the best tool there is for getting a cheesecake off of a springform or doing detailed plating work. Get it in the smaller size too

There’s no problem with the spatula itself. I bought the 4.25” at the same time and from their pictures, I thought the only difference is the length. But this longer version is actually much wider. Not exactly what I need but I’m keeping it anyway.

Easy to use and not have to bend wrist at anglex

I hace been using it for few month now and I like it. It is a good product.

Love it. I use it for other stuff too, flipping roti, scraping/ mixing sourdough starter in my mason jar. The offset handle makes it perfect for hat kind of thing. Not an expert cake baker/ decorator, but it seems fine for that, I had no issues.

The handle is as thick as 2 handles put together and the edge on the metal is pretty rough it needs to be sanded smooth. Not the best but it works and it was cheap.
