Better quality chain
Seams to be better quality chain than the cheap chain that comes with the gate openers that starts rusting in less than a month, only time will tell.

Works like a charm with the Topens Sliding Gate Openers
I installed my new Topens sliding gate opener and, because I have a 23 foot gate travel, and the new opener only shipped with a 20 foot chain, I kept and used the old chain instead of ponying up $65 for an additional 20 feet when I only needed 3. Big mistake. After routing the chain into the drive/pulleys of the new opener and connecting it all up, the opener worked great about the first 10 cycles, but then consistently stalled or completely failed to open. Hours of tweaking the chain, changing the limit stop positions, etc. did nothing to fix the problem. The old chain was a different size and did not fit the teeth of the drive/pulleys on the new opener. So, I bought this 20 foot section, cut three feet off of it, used the included connecting links, and in less than an hour had the new chain installed. The unit now operates smoothly and consistently. No gripe about this chain, but it would be great if Topens sold a shorter lengthen as an “add to” piece for gates more than 20 feet, but not close to 30 or 40 feet.

Works once cut to length
Purchased to extend the chain that comes with a Topens opener. Would be nice if they sold shorter lengths as well. I just needed 8 feet so now I have 12 feet of unused chain.

Great Product
Topens is great to deal with! I only needed a section of chain to finish the job! It came promptly and just what i needed! I would be glad to deal with Topens again!

Strong chain
My gate is 24 feet across. I needed 6 more feet of chain in order for the gate opener to work properly. I had to buy another 20 foot chain because Topens does not make anything shorter. I added to the original chain & reinstalled with no problems. The chain is working well.
