Does exactly what it says it will.
Easy to install, works well, and blacks the room out completely if you fit it right. When I first put it up it seemed to hold well with only two stickers at the top but after a few weeks the weight pulled it down. that was my fault as I didn't use all the stickers. So I did it properly and it's great now. I guess if you are going to be using it on different windows it might not be the best idea to cut it to fit but it's nice and neat in my room and I'm not moving any time soon. I work nights and sleep has been tough since I moved flat as the curtains here are not the greatest at keeping the light out. Since getting this I have slept like a baby. What a difference the dark makes to your dream state. At 30 quid it's a bargain! Great product, delivered pretty quick, comes in a nice wee bag with extra stickers. I highly recommend it.

Very good at blacking out the light.
The adhesive that fits onto the cloth is not great. Best to stick it on with super glue because when the velcro attaches on, the adhesive will come off when you try and open the blind. slight annoyance but the blind itself works well. Makes the room totally dark which is perfect for a good night's sleep.

Sleep easy by blacking out
There's a streetlight almost right outside the house. Even with thick curtains, light creeps in at night. And then, on a summer morning, the sun rises on that side of the house, treating us to our very own light display. At 5 am. So as you can imagine, I was delighted when I saw this product, and even more so when I discovered it actually worked. It comes with velcro fasteners but I don't use them. It's so efficient that I simply drape it over the curtain rail - when the curtains are closed - to give an extra layer. As you can see from the picture this technique means it is not quite long enough to reach the bottom of the window, but that doesn't matter. It is so efficient that it blocks out enough light to ensure a good kip! This product comes with its own handy little bag, making it portable if you are going to rent a cottage by the sea, but don't fancy waking at dawn. The material has a quality feel to it, and I can honestly say that I am delighted with this purchase.

Not so great on a slanted window?
As a healthcare assistant who works nights, and also lives in a top-floor, south-facing flat with one of those pain-in-the-butt bedroom windows that's in the slanted bit of the roof (therefore can't have curtains and the fitted blinds don't block much of anything), I have become extremely desperate for something like this to help me sleep during the day. I was seriously impressed with the ease of use. I'm typically useless with measurements somehow, but this was easy enough to do even for someone who's a muppet with a tape measure. It didn't block light completely well enough, because the window is a slanted loft style pest. Gravity pulls down on anywhere that isn't velcro'd, and there weren't enough velcro attachments to solve that. I followed the instructions directing me to hold down the velcro attachments to the material of the blind for 90 seconds, and also to then leave the blind alone and not put it up for 24 hours. This seemed to work until day 5, when the blind began detaching from the velcro attachment itself (not the two velcro pieces coming apart, they stayed firm). Sadly, I'm back to being desperately stressed by lack of sleep before 15 hour shifts. But I think this probably works better for windows that aren't slanted. The gravity probably didn't help. And as a side note: while you might think this would cool a room down, being white on the back... NO. It got hotter and stuffier in there than ever but I wanted the sun out of my face. I would have put up with that. I think if you want to try it and see how it goes, and don't have silly windows that are half sky-light/half window, it's still worth a try. I just wanted to leave my thoughts for those few people who might have an annoying type of window like mine.

It's Velco
Attached with Velcro. Velcro that's stuck to the window and the blind. They come unstuck. The Velcro detaches from the blind more that the window frame. Why am I sticking Velcro to the blind? Shouldn't it have strips already? Is it so I can position it correctly? Positioning doesn't matter if it won't stay up! TLDR: Useless.

Complete game changer, so much better than other portable blinds!
Complete gamechanger! I've tried several other brands of portable blinds off amazon including the Gro Anywhere. This is the only blind so far that actually stays up once put up and also offers complete blackout. Pros - Come switch Premium brand velcro rather than cheap hook & loop like some other brands. Quick & easy to put up. Suitable for daily use - can be put up and removed daily using the velcro fasteners included. Lightweight material that offers full room blackout Can be cut to the size of the window you require. Comes in a lovely carrier bag, ideal to take with you if you travel. Added bonus - keeps the room nice and cool by blocking sunlight Cons - None so far!

Fantastic Solution to a Common Problem!
I ’m so glad I found this product – it has helped us sleep much better! I brought these blinds as were struggling to get to sleep in the evenings. Not only does this blind block-out sunlight, it also helped regulate the temperature of our room. The blind has the following features - - Can be Cut to Size (It comes delivered measuring 1.5m x 1.4m) - Comes with Self-Adhesive Velcro Hook & Loop so you can put up and take down the blind as and when required. - The back-side of the blind is white (ideal to reflect light) - Comes with a storage bag so can we put away when not being used, or when you travel somewhere. - High Quality Blackout Material, which is 100% Blackout unlike some other materials available on the market. If you value your sleep, do not hesitate buying this product. It is well worth every the investment of £30.00.

Velcro Sticking....NOTE
Very good, I NEVER write any reviews to Be honest; so heer it goes! Blind is a good quality, and not heavy, which is very important as this reduces the weights on the Velcro pads. You MUST wait 24hrs otherwise the velcro pads will fall off. Not on the blind but on the frame, especially in this current hot weather. I've ordered some 'heat resistant' velcro to see if these perform better. If you have any problems it will be down to user error and not the product Also order the second blind, arrives today. All good.
