I had a cheap, three compartment warming dish from a local store that I had used for entertaining. I decided to upgrade and I'm so glad I did. This is a beautiful chafing dish. It looks elegant (but not fancy) and high quality. The size is just right. You can adjust the heat by how far you open the cover over the flame. It is true that there aren't directions in the box. I just knew that you put water in the bottom pan, but not everyone would know that. This is a nice piece to have for your parties or large family get togethers and I would buy it again.

We purchased two of these for a holiday party and they were excellent. The design is very attractive and functional. The construction is sturdy and of high quality. The food easily stayed heated and clean-up was simple.

We have had this product and the 6-quart oval version of it since July 2013. We use them about once a month. The build quality is excellent. The functionality is also superb. In addition, the stainless steel with gold accent looks elegant. They are functional and use good design -- I definitely recommend the product. I just came to the page to order another one so I decided to write a review as well.

The 4 quart Winward chafer is attractive and 'elegant' enough to mix with silver trays for a dining room buffet setting. Since you need to burn sterno there is a little odor from that but I chose this so it would not have to be plugged in. I think this would be nice on the patio or for outdoor buffet service as well.

Love it! A good size for large gatherings - we used two of them for a Black Friday appetizer buffet - Asian wings in one, cranberry meatballs in the other. There are two pans with each chafing dish: one is shallow, one is deeper. This worked out well for us, as we had more wings than meatballs, so used a different size pan in each dish. I bought a case of Sterno at a party store so we are all set for the rest of the holiday season!

The Gold Accent food warmer looks like it was made in a garage. It's not worth even half its price. And if you try to return it, you'll have to pay 15% of the price for the return shipping. Moreover, the seller pretends not to have received the returned item and deliberately delays the refund. Be careful, this is common practice for sellers shipping their goods from China.

It was well packed and arrived in time for our Thanksgiving dinner. I had seen one at a breakfast I attended and was determined to find one. This one was priced just right with the added bonus of prime delivery. It was a beautiful addition to our buffet. The size is pretty large but we prepared for 20 people. If you aren't expecting that large a crowd, you may want to get a smaller one.
