These shorts are comfortable but are not athletic shorts. The are a thin stretchy jersey, not see-through but close to it, and have no compression value whatsoever. If you're looking for inexpensive stretchy shorts to wear under a long tunic, try these. If your looking for athletic shorts to hold things in place while you work out, keep looking.

Even though I returned these bc of a fit issue, I really liked them and wished they would have worked. Doesn’t mean they won’t work for you! I wanted some shorts for wearing under dresses and skirts in the summer to prevent any surprise viewings on windy days and these were the right style. They aren’t compression athletic shorts (thankfully) and have good stretch. Unfortunately, they were so much smaller than the size chart. I am 5’7, 150lbs and usually select a 30’ waist when ordering bottoms (though my waist is just shy of 29’) bc my hips/thighs are 42’. So I wear a size 12/14 or a 31/32 in bottoms. The large I ordered was incredibly tiny. While they stretched out on my hips, it was ALOT of pressure of my stomach, making them too uncomfortable to wear. I would need at least a XXL. But if you are smaller, I think these would be great!

I bought these shorts to wear under dresses, and they are perfect for that. I like that they are mostly cotton, which holds up better than other materials, in my opinion. I looked at other shorts online, but many were too long. These work perfect in case the wind catches your dress or if you bend over, not to reveal anything. ;) They are long enough not to ride up, but short enough not to be seen under your dress. I am 5’4” and 100lbs for reference, and ordered the small.

I bought these for use in a show to wear as whites for quick changes. I was not disappointed! After frantically searching Amazon for shorts that were not too short and not too long, I found this pair. I'm about 5'7 and they came down to just below the middle of my thigh, which is exactly what I wanted. I had no problems with the size and there was no rolling at the top or bottom. I was very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it!

These fit exactly the way I wanted. Comfortable, breathable, long enough to avoid the nasty chaffing that occurs with shorter shorts. They're thin enough to wear under a skirt but also thick enough that you can wear them with a top. Comfortable to work out or sleep. I will be ordering more colors!

Yes, size up. Followed advice and it worked perfectly for me. I'm usually a small, even though I carry my weight in the middle. Got a medium, fits perfectly. Love the high waist, band not tight or making a muffin. The garment itself is well made. No open or ripped seams. Highly recommend.

Exactly as pictured, really soft quality fabric. I am 5'5" and 135 lbs, ordered large and the fit is perfect! Wish they came in more colors.
