I started using Dr. Grip at the hospital working as a nurse 40 years ago. It’s the only pen I use as a nurse. They are great reliable, pens that do not skip or run. The gel ink is my favorites The pen is ergonomically design being a little larger in size so that people who are pron to arthritis from repetitive movement can hold out through their work day. They’re a little bit more expensive than regular pens , but they’re worth it. You can get refills that you can put in them to have on hand in case your pen runs out. They feel just right in your hands and they keep you from having writers cramps like other skinny pens do. They are the most coveted pens for nurses, doctors, lawyers, and other people that do a lot of writing, highly recommend these pens. They are the most durable pens available. I love, love, love my Dr Grip!

Great pen

The thick, soft grip feels great and helps delay or completely prevents the numbness I sometimes get quickly from using thinner ones. I would have liked a little more smoothness in the ink. A couple times the angle of the point affected the smoothness more than I’d have liked. Overall, GREAT pen though.

I have large hands and pen is just right for a comfortable grip. The ink flows in a smooth manner so it can be used for important correspondence. I like the variety of colors which helps me know which one should stay in my purse and which one is for office

I used this pen years ago then could no longer find it on the shelves with the advent of the computer. I now have arthritis in the thumb of my writing hand and needed a bigger, padded pen. I searched the internet and found this pen on AMAZON. The oversized silicone sleeve on the bottom of the barrel of this pen is extremely comfortable and prevents "writer's cramp". For the younger generation, "writer's cramp" is when one has to revert to manual, cursive script for e.g. legal documents and manual checks.
