Gentle and effective
“No one should pay that much for a brush!”Okay, but hear me out: YES. You probably SHOULD pay this much for a brush depending on what sort of dog you have and if you can afford it.My Australian Shepherd gets brushed a few times a week, no big deal, sheds but not much. Enter “big boy,” my Heeler/GSD/Husky/Chow mix. Holy carp does he have a MASSIVE undercoat that seems to shed all at once in a massive cloud of “nope.”This brush has saved my carpet, every visible surface, and my vacuum. The combs run DEEP and get every bit of potential flying floofball in 1-3 passes. He has what looks like a medium coat, but it is DENSER than those people you work with. Beautiful dog, all told, but a menace. If you’re on the fence: get the brush.

Best Doodle brush!!!!
100% BEST dog brush for dogs who are easily matted or tangled. We have a 2 year old Golden Doodle with tight curls who mats VERY easy, this brush work wonders!!! I have tried a lot of other brushes and wish I would not of wasted of money and would have started with this. Using this brush daily or ever other day we are able to keep him from matting so we never needs to get shaved down. Highly recommended!!!!

Gotta see it to believe it
For a mini-Aussie with a thick coat. Furminator was not appropriate since it tended to cut too much. I was skeptical, especially considering the price and the decent performance of my current pin brush. But other reviewers raved so much, I had to try. NOW I GET IT!!! It’s so effective, I have to begin gradually and work up to using the full brush. Super effective and his coat is so much smoother. Wouldn’t have believed it without trying myself. Large size makes very quick work of my mini, but it’s easy to maneuver. Glad I got the full size.

The best brush for puddles
I have a standard poodle with tangled fur, and every time I comb it, it's a battle. I bought such an expensive thing with a nervous heart. It's because someone mentioned in the review that there are many combs priced at $20 or $30, but they are not as useful, so I tried them out. Now I enjoy combing his hair every time. The only thing I don't really like is that my hands occasionally become loose, causing a slight pain. But my fur seems not care about it and enjoy. I still pay attention to brush sensitive areas slowly and lighter.

Spend the extra $30 and get this brush. Trust me!
Just bite the bullet and pay the $30 extra to get this brush. If your dog has any poodle in them it's worth it. Don't make the same mistake I did and get the 1/2 price cutesy knock off because it may save you $30 but it doesn't work as well as this brush does. Grooming time takes less time with this brush. The tangles don't pull my dogs skin. It has longer comb teeth and more teeth then any other slicker brush I've tried.

Works well, but WHY IS IT $65???
We had a cheap brush before getting this one. It worked okay, but the shorter bristles felt like they weren't getting very deep. We wondered if that was the reason for all of the shedding, since the Bernedoodle is supposed to be a low shedder. We did a lot of research for top brands, and this one was on every single list if not at the top of them. Everyone gushed about its miraculous ability to glide through fur, to break through clumps, to leave a coat sleek and shiny, and to reduce shedding with removing the undercoat. So many people claimed that their dog usually hated being brushed, but oh, not with THIS brush! THIS one will have them on their butts for hours, happily wagging their tails from such a luxurious grooming experience. BUT THE PRICE. $65? And that's less than the actual listing price of $83. If you google "slicker brush," the next highest price I see is around $30, but the majority are an average of $20. Why is it so expensive??? I thought it must have the most cutting-edge design to boast such a number. It took us forever to finally justify getting this. But we did. And...I'm a bit underwhelmed after all the hype. Don't get me wrong, it's a good brush. It does feel like it gets in there pretty deep and it doesn't pull as much. But she still sheds a lot, even though we brush her often (I guess the brand itself doesn't technically claim that it does that, but man, lots of influencers were claiming it did). And the result looks almost the same. I feel a bit scammed. $65? Really? I'd moan less about it if it was $45, $50 tops. It's like those makeup brands that sell a 1.5 oz serum for $300, when other companies sell theirs for $15 and it does the same thing.
