Even though I had read some horrible reviews about these stands I figured I'd "roll the dice" (bada-bing) and I bought these to enhance my TI4 game play. To be honest they are not as bad as many reviewer make them out to be. Maybe their expectations were too high. The stands are not rock solid sturdy, but they aren't flimsy either. If you squeeze the little rubber gasket extra tight around the legs the stands are perfect. They don't topple over. The legs don't come off. The stands work fine for an entire game play - about 4 - 6 hours.As a matter of fact, I liked them so much that after the first set of three came in I went back on Amazon and bought 5 more sets (one for each player). The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that they really are a bit over priced. But if you have the extra coin, they are worth it.

I wish I had read the comments before buying this.I don't usually make reviews but in this case, it felt wrong not to.The pegs are held using only rubber rings which makes them slide off just by slightly pressing, and tilting the entire stand.Also, the pegs are too loose and wobbly.I do not recommend this product.The hexagons look nice and clean, that is the only reason I gave this product a 2 and not a 1.

Not necessary for the Fantasy Flight games, but helpful. Very well made and a great idea!

The legs are far too narrow and wobble about. The rubber gaskets are a joke, don’t really hold anything in place. Seems like a good way to accidentally knock all of your pieces across the board. DO NOT BUY. Save your money for anything else.
