I bought this keyboard case after reading several reviews of different ones for my new iPad Air. I did not want to spend the money on the Folio through Apple. I also felt from reviews that cases that have a Bluetooth connection to the iPad still had many more positive reviews than using the dock feature with the iPad like the Folio. There were a number of the ones in the same price range like this one, but this one had the most positive one and least negative ones that I could disregard. The actual case is basically good and covers my device well. I feel it is well protected overall. I love the feel of the keyboard. It feels pretty close to a natural keyboard to a laptop. The keys do not feel too small or too cramped together. The keys respond real well. It connects to my iPad really well. It has a long charge life so I do not need to recharge it quickly. I bought for the colors as well which are real cool to have on while I use it. My only complaint about this case and keyboard combination is that you have to be mindful of how you open the case. For some reason the magnets on the keyboard do not stay connected to the case when you first open it certain ways. I do not mind that I have to reposition the keyboard to set it up to be used as one with my iPad. It takes a little work to get the iPad into the case, but once you get it in, it is well protected and all cutouts are set for the iPad exactly. The Apple Pencil spots work well for charging and storing was well. Overall, it is a very good product other than when you open up the case in certain positions and the keyboard does not stay connected to the case. Well worth the money spent on this.

Very nice and works well

I am a full time Leasing Agent and I purchased this keyboard/case along with a separate mouse. I could not have possibly gone with a better choice than this case and keyboard! I’ve used this case and keyboard for about 2 months. The case is protective and snug and the material makes me feel confident that if I drop my iPad, it will be just fine! The keyboard is awesome! The command button is awesome with shortcuts. I like that I am able to control my volume, enter my password, pause and play, and lock my iPad all from my keyboard. It’s great that It has divots so I can place my ipad at different heights for the best viewing. The 4 stars is simply for when I remove the keyboard. The case is still effective, just feels empty. I guess it’s not really a product issue.More so my thoughts. I will say that it is even more sturdy so I can comfortably write on my iPad. I recommend 10x over!!

I really like this keyboard/case. It’s sturdy enough without being super heavy, the battery lasts a very long time, the bluetooth has never failed me. I even like the keys.

Easy and fast set up. Typing on keyboard was smooth, no issues. Excellent price. Have been using the keyboard for only one week. Will update review if I encounter problems.

Update #2: there was a problem with the micro USB charging port. I contacted Chesonaus and they immediately sent out a replacement. They are super-responsive and stand behind their keyboard.After using the keyboard for a few months now, I still love it.One suggestion: if you use your keyboard all day, as I do, keeping it plugged in will keep you charged up while working and then it will be charged up if later you’re on the go and will be unplugged. Battery life is good, but that has helped me since I use it all day long.Also: make sure to turn the back-lighting off during the day. I didn’t even think about that and was leaving it on all the time. Now that I turn it off when I don’t need it, and change the level as needed (usually the lowest setting works fine b/c I use it in dark settings), it lasts a lot longer.Update: I found a great use for the keyboard protector: when I need to have the keyboard separate from the case, or when I’m using the keyboard for my phone, I lay the protector on any desk or other hard surface to keep the keyboard secure. It does a perfect job of holding the keyboard in place while typing.Since I don’t really use the keyboard protector otherwise, it works great for that.Pros• easy connection• incredibly long battery life• very protective• I love that I can take the keyboard off and use it in my lap, or to the side of my ipad.• the keyboard also works great with my phone!• it has an apple pencil holder, which my old one did not, and I lost my pencil!• the top row of function keys are a huge convenience. There’s even a delete key. A delete key! On an iPad!• the keyboard is a tad bit small, but not by much, and it has to be that size to fit my 11” iPad Pro.• keyboard feel and function is great.• there’s a lip on the case, as well as small bumpers on each corner of the keyboard, so the the screen doesn’t touch the keyboard when it is closed• very responsive and helpful customer serviceCons• What’s not to like?? ;-)• Actually, the only con for me was that this keypad isn’t backlit. I really need that, and Chesona customer support was super-responsive and helpful in getting me one that is backlit. The backlit version is a bit more expensive, but still a great price. And for those who don’t need backlit keys, this is a superb keyboard and case, and an amazingly low price.

Product was as described, value was good, typing takes a little getting use to as keyboard is as big as ipad, brightness of keypad is adjustable and good, quality is good. I kept the sturdy bod for travel although the top that folds over makes it a bit durable.

The case itself is fine, it’s kept my tablet safe for the past two years since I bought it. Super easy to use and it has enough space for a pen. My only problem is the keyboard. Only a couple months in, some of the keys are unresponsive, and the characters seem to not match up correctly at random times. Connecting it to my tablet is the least frustrating part about it, it has a really long battery life too, I’ve really only charged it a handful of times.
