TUMSChewy Bites Fast Cooling Sensation Antacid, Fruit Fusion, 28 Tablets

I gave this 5 stars because I strongly believe that my entire review is based on personal preference. When I first saw the product, I was very excited to see a different flavor because I have been buying the original berries flavor for years and even though it’s good, I’m tired. However, when I read that it has a cooling effect I thought to myself why the heck would anyone want to feel minty coolness when you’re feeling heartburn? I realize maybe that may feel relieving to some people, but the idea to me seemed uncomfortable. Regardless, I decided to order them because of the flavor and assuming that maybe my fear of the cooling effect is in my head.I got these last night and woke up with heartburn so the first thing I did was give these a try. The colors are cute and the smell is great when you open the tinfoil on the top. They smell so much more flavorful than the berries flavor! I popped two in my mouth and they tasted delicious, so much better than the other flavor.. HOWEVER, Within seconds, I started Tasting the mint/Cooling effect. Just as I had pictured, it did not sit well with my heartburn. I personally feel like it aggravated it because now I feel like it left my entire esophagus burning a bit on the way down. I am not the dramatic type of person at all which is why I wanted to be quick to post this. If you feel put off about the mint, don’t get it because it won’t sit well. If mint sounds like it’ll help alleviate your heart burn then this is for you. It’s very unfortunate because I love the taste. I’ll try to finish the 28 tablets it comes with, but for me personally it’s didn’t feel as effective as the regular tablets. I got some relief but not all like usual.

I only wish that they came in a larger bottle. They are chewed, but not gummy. Tastes good and really works well. You’ll like them 🎄

What can I say? It works fast. It taste good and this is a great value here.

Really works and we love the taste, non chalky.

Though they appeared to be adequate with respect to their anti-acid capacity of effect, when I would take one they seemed to activate my appetite for sweets and I'd end up taking one or two more just because of that. That's too much calcium carbonate in the long term. Also expensive. It made me realize I should stick with the more economical bulk packaging economy of, for example, a Costco purchase version. I'm also less apt to activate the sweet tooth and increase my overall risk of hypercalcemia; who wants to increase a risk of kidney stones? Not me!

Works well and tastes better than the chalky tablets.

I love tomatoes, but tomatoes do not love me. So rude of them! These Tums help me enjoy my tomato dishes without heartburn. The cooling sensation is the best! I appreciate the non-chalky taste of these chewy bites.
