Terrazas de los Andes Malbec, 75cl

I love this wine. Such great value for money and was a hit at my dinner party! My wine-snob friends have now all gone out and bought bottles of their own!

it says pack of 6 bottles and i have only received 1 bottle when will i receive the rest of the order??

Very smooth Malbec, that paired perfectly well with our Sunday roast. I highly recommend !

Whether you would like a wine or not is incredibly subjective and we think there’s a lot of the emperors new clothes around winetasting and wine industry awards as well as plonk snobbery.That said we very much enjoyed this Malbec and it’s comparable to others in the same price range and perhaps some there a little bit more expensive.We always expect an Argentinian red to go well with grilled meats and it certainly does.Whilst our nose and palate might not be sophisticated enough to pick out the subtle hints of chocolate, We did like the fruit notes and body of this wine.This Malbec has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and has a 10 year cellaring potential.Very pleasant and would drink again

This is one of the best bottles of Malbec I've tasted. From the second I opened it and poured it out I knew I was about to experience something special!On the nose it is very fruity, cherries, blackcurrants, very rich and full and upon tasting it is so smooth and gentle and delicate, like velvet on the tongue and then a dry finish.Every glass myself and my partner really savoured. We'd normally easily drink a bottle between us with a meal but this was so special we actually saved a glass each for the next day so we could experience it once again before we finished it!A very enjoyable bottle, one we would definitely buy again once we can have friends round and it really is one of the best reds i've tried. Highly recommended!

SummaryI love a Malbec and this is a very good example. Some reds can be a bit gritty but this one is clean and clear. I thoroughly recommend this one - give it a try.Quality and priceThis is a little more expensive than your low to average priced examples but this is also a 2017 vintage and perhaps is a little classier than your average bottle too.TasteFor me this is a chocolate lovers' fudge cake of a wine. I received this Malbec and the same winery's Cab Sav for review. I first opened the Cab Save, and on opening I immediately got a "fusty" whiff. Mrs E. L. Wisty who was on the opposite side of the kitchen could smell it too. After pouring a small amount, we both sniffed & tasted - very iffy. Tried again (with clean glass) pouring through an aerator. Absolutely horrible, the aerator had in fact fully released the off taste. Definitely corked.I then proceeded to open this Malbec, again using clean glasses. Also gone bad. Both bottles poured down the sink. The number of bottles of corked wine I have had in my life I can virtually count on the fingers of a leper's foot. It's possible that some old stock has been fobbed off for review purposes, but to have got two out of two bad bottles from the same winery seems too unlikely to have been just bad luck. I'm just glad I didn't pay for these - it would have been over 30 quid down the drain, literally.

An absolutely delicious 2017 Malbec from Argentinian Terrazas de Andes vineyard. It tastes surprisingly initially sweet and fruity with a wonderfully smooth finish with a nice balance of acidity, it’s strawberries and blackberries with an oakiness too. We had this bottle with our Sunday roast of lamb, it was the perfect choice with the lamb, my adult son and husband both regularly enjoy red wines, I tend to drink dry whites, but we all thoroughly enjoyed this bottle, especially the smoothness. It’s a good looking bottle too with a cork that opens with a satisfying pop, a super wine to impress friends and family at a good price. I wholeheartedly recommend this Malbec I am sure we will be trying again very soon.
