So far so good!
Package arrived 2 days earlier than expected date. GREAT surprise for the kids and the dog! Set it up within 20 minutes of seeing the package at the front door. Initial impressions - as advertised. Sheet metal structure, 110v power source with a fused link (which I like). Great amount of bubbles, although as mentioned the solution will start to froth up. Kids know when that starts to happen it's time for a break for the machine (they are 3 and 5). I can see where the bubble tray is and how it's attached so I will likely take that apart to silicone all edges to prevent any type of future leak. Maybe even add an overflow type of system (I'm an engineer by trade, geek by default I guess). Heck, I'm the type that would probably see if I can duplicate parts of it with bigger, faster fans... (my wife is going to kill me I think! Haha) Great little machine for what I paid for it and it's going to get a LOT of use every day from what the kids are telling me. We went through 128 oz. worth of bubble solution first go-around with it. Decided to go to the store and pick up 3 more 128 oz bottles and have already cracked one of them open. I'll need to figure a higher mounting location for it to get the bubbles higher and farther off the ground. Be sure to clean after each use or as with any type of product there WILL be detrimental consequences. Obvious stuff - don't just keep putting solution in there each day expecting it not to gunk up at some point. Keep electrical contact and fan motor points clean and free of debris, etc. Obviously don't have it plugged in at the time you are cleaning it... I will try to update my review after I have had it for a little bit of time instead of just a few hours worth of use. I am curious what the fan life is supposed to be on the unit, but realistically for the mechanically inclined sourcing and replacing such a part should be pretty straight forward. Thanks for your time. Justin Baxman

awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i've purchased a large number of bubble makers through the years for the kids parties. some cheap, and some expensive. they all worked somewhat, but mostly pretty poorly. or they stopped working all together. but i can tell you that this one is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! every parent or child that sees it, is totally shocked at the volume of bubbles it puts out!!! and it works equally well with store bought, or home made bubble solutions [just diluted dish soap]. but like ALL OTHER bubble makers, IT'A MANDATORY to clean it very well after its used!! if you don't, the next time you get it out, it will be all gummed up with old dried soap residue, or worse, the fan motor may be stuck, or rusted and locked up. and too, after you wash out the unit after use, i let it run on the counter for however long it takes to totally dry out. then as a preventative to that potential motor problem, before and after use, i recommend to squirt some lube like WD40, or better, into the fans bearings and gears.

(4) Machines Purchased. NONE Worked. 100% Defect Rate
Avoid these bubble machines like the plague! They are neither commercial quality nor even good quality. You’ll notice that all of the "good" reviews for this product are very old, while almost all recent reviews complain of fans and bubble wheel motors not turning properly and completely defective machines. This was my experience as well. Read on…... I initially ordered just (2) of these machines for a children’s party. They arrived on time and were packed well, with no damage to the boxes. Upon unpacking and plugging the first unit in, I noticed that the fan began running but the motor driving the bubble wheel didn't move. This was just as other reviewers complained. After inspecting closer (I’m an electrical engineer) I noticed that a 110V AC gearmotor was being used for the bubble motor with a DC computer fan motor acting as a blower and a hand-built AC/DC converter board hot glued to the fan. The gearmotor was wired direct to the AC power through the fuse. Testing of the remaining unit showed the same problem. Since my party date was approaching quickly and neither of the machines I ordered worked, I decided to express mail ($$$$) two more units in hopes that at least one of them would work for my party. They arrived next day and both new units had the same exact problem as the first two: the bubble wheel motors wouldn't turn unless turned by hand to start them. Other reviewers have noticed that the components used in these machines seem to be sourced as surplus parts and change from time-to-time based upon availability. Whatever the case, the AC gearmotors being used for the bubble wheel DO NOT work without turning them a bit by hand every time you start/stop the machine. This isn't very handy if you’re mounting them high above the ground so the bubbles float down. I've now tested (4) separate machines from two different batches and every single machine had the same problem. The bubble wheel didn't turn in any of the machines. A simple quality control check at the time of manufacturing would have caught this, so obviously there is no quality control at the factory at all. Bottom Line: DON’T BUY THESE MACHINES.

Glad I bought it!
I was giving my 2 year old a birthday party at home in the backyard, and was looking for activities etc for her party. Decided to get a bubble machine since she really enjoys me blowing bubbles for her. After much looking, I decided to go with this machine. I was a little hesitant, but once I received it and set it up(which was very easy)it was a hit with all the kids. I believe they enjoyed the bubble machine more than the bounce house we had set up! Trust when I say this machine makes a huge amount of bubbles. We have a pretty large yard, and bubbles were everywhere. Excellent purchase. Just make sure you use it outside because it can get a little messy. Overall, happy with the machine. We now use it frequently when hanging out in the yard. I purchased a huge gallon of bubble mix from Walmart for about $3.00. It worked great!

The bubble maker quit working on it's second attempt. The supplier told me he couldn't help me because the 30 day return policy had expired. I tried it for the second time in the 31st day unfortunately (it is only day 32) . Was hoping the supplier might at least be able to contact the manufacture on a possible fix but it doesn't look like it.

This machine works very well and produces tons of bubbles. I bought this for my granddaughter for Xmas but when it came it didn't work. I sent in a return claim and they sent me another one. I just got it and was glad that I didn't get a refund but got a replacement machine as she is going to love it.

It does work extremely well , although after prolong use (20-40mins) it starts to foam the bubble solution and spit solution out to about a 1.5 ft radius.

Grandchildren love it and the dog too.
