Kindergarten Math With Confidence Bundle: Instructor Guide & Student Workbook Review: This curriculum has worked great for our family. - We love Math with Confidence. I have taught this to two children now. The lessons are easy to teach and the work is fun for the kids. It is amazing to see your children learn math and be excited to learn it. My 4 year old was able to understand and keep up with this curriculum. I have taught the 1st grade one as well and will be using the 2nd grade curriculum this next year. My children have a good understanding of the math concepts taught in these books. Review: 5 stars - DO NOT judge this curriculum based on flipping through the workbook. You will immediately think “this is too easy” or “behind grade level”. That’s because it’s NOT a workbook based curriculum. It’s much more hands on which is what we were looking for. We tried two other K curriculum before this gem. Yes, we were able to go through it faster than the schedule but it made that easy enough to do at our pace. I love the heavy visualization base and we did buy an abacus to go with this. The heavy practice with the games and the review for working with early numbers made for a solid foundation for bigger numbers. People are put off with the lack of work with higher numbers but those were made so much easier with a simple solid foundation. I love it. My 6yo loves it. I highly recommend it at your own pace.

Great for early math building skills.
There isn't enough good things I can say about this curriculum. My son thrives from the hands on interactions and he absolutely loves all the games. It is very parent involved, but we can finish a full lesson in 15 minutes including all the extras. He is almost finished with the level K and I would recommend this to any family looking for a fun, interactive math curriculum.

I really enjoyed this purchase. Before every lesson there is a warm up game and the fact that the lesson is scripted makes is so convenient. Enough repetition on every subject

Simply The Best Kindergarten Math
As a homeschooling mom who wastes so much money finding the right curriculum that works for my child, I can say that I simply LOVE this kindergarten math book set. When my little was in preschool, we began working in this book. Now we're continuing where we left off for the rest of kindergarten year. My now 5 year old knows how to do mental math, adding to 10 with a combination of 2 different numbers, all from learning how to read a 10 stick from instruction out of this book. The parent guide is very comprehensive without being intimidating or daunting. Each lesson is short, engaging and both me and my 5 year old enjoy pulling it out for our math lessons. Thank you, Kate Snow! My very active 5 year old is learning valuable math skills and sitting still to complete the short games/activities. The lessons in the student workbook take us less than 5 minutes to complete, and my child is still retaining what he learned in previous lessons. I'm tempted to go ahead and buy the first grade level just so I can admire what is to come! There should be more awareness of this awesome math instruction. It's so affordable and gives the child plenty opportunity to grasp specific skills before jumping into a new concept. If you're pondering what math to incorporate in your kindergartener's schooling, try Kindergarten Math with Confidence first and avoid other busywork workbooks or those expensive brands that risk not keeping your child engaged.

We loved this!
This was my first year homeschooling any of my kids. My youngest is a Kindergartener and had completed some preschool in the public school system last year before the schools shut down because of COVID. I felt like the beginning of this math book was fairly easy for him and it was a good review to get him back into the school year. Math lessons are written well and explained and repeated throughout the book to help with mastery. This curriculum was SO fun. My son never complained and always looked forward to his math lesson. He always wanted to do an extra lesson. Unfortunately, it's February and he has a little less than 10 lessons left. I wish she had her 1st grade math curriculum ready! The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I feel it could have been a little more difficult.

Loved this curriculum
I used this curriculum for my 5 year old daughter last year, and we both loved it. The lessons were a perfect length for her attention span, and the active, hands-on learning approach kept her engaged. I would usually ask if she wanted to do her reading lesson or math lesson first, and she would 99% of the time say “math!” The lessons build on each other in such a simple progression that there was only one lesson the whole year that frustrated her. The daily review sessions definitely helped keep skills in practice for her. As the instructor and a new homeschool mom, I found that the open-and-go lesson plans gave me a ton of confidence in walking her through the year. No pre-planning required which I really needed. I just purchased the First Grade curriculum to start in the fall and we are both excited. I’m so thankful to have found this program.

I like that it presents math in another form.

The content is creative and it encourages the kids to utilise the skills of subitizing as well.

We dabbled with a couple of other curriculums before giving this one a try with our reception aged daughter. She has loved it and has been excited to do the activities each day. It feels fairly rigorous too - some topics haven't been covered by her peers in school yet and we are moving on to grade 1. Hoping the following books are as motivating for her as this has been!

I absolutely love Kate Snow's math curriculum. I look forward to doing the grade 1 curriculum with my 6 year old as well! My only wish is I would have started this Kindergarten math earlier! My daughter understands everything very well and enjoys doing the lessons, as long as we keep it to no more than 3 a day (which makes sense to me!). I highly recommend this curriculum to anyone who is looking into homeschooling. It is so simple to follow along and teach. An open and go program, only needing a few basic items and lots of household items you will already have on hand!

This was bought for my home educated 6 year old. It's a brilliantly simple but hands on maths curriculum aimed at Reception/Year 1 equivalent. It contains 4 lessons a week for 32 weeks, and is very clearly explained for the parent/teacher, including what to say to your child. It uses simple, easily available manipulatives so you don't need to spend a fortune on other resources, and includes photocopiable sheets in the back for things such as 10 Frames. Each lesson ends with a page for the child to complete in their student workbook. I felt this was a bargain, given the amount of detail and the full colour printing of the student workbook, especially when compared to many other UK and US homeschooling curriculums.
