Complete Cat Care: How to Keep Your Cat Healthy and Happy

I bought this as I'm usually a fan of anything "DK" and the pictures do not disappoint. This is a nicely written book but it's extremely basic and does not go in to depth. I would recommend though for a first time cat mum.If you want more detailed information I would recommend DK Encyclopaedia of the Cat which describes anatomy, emergencies, and medical issues and has lots more pictures/ illustrations which are beneficial.

If you want to learn about cats, this is a good option to start. We recently adopted a kitten and have found this book to be very helpful.

Small book. Concise. 1-2 pages spent on each topic. Good reference for beginner or experienced cat owners. The photography is lovely. My one big problem with this book is it's endorsement of letting cats go outside. Cats are domesticated pets. They have NO business being let outside, perhaps with exception of a farm or rural area or if leash trained. It is irresponsible misinformation that cats need to be let outside to be happy and content. They are perfectly happy indoors if exercised and played with for periods of time each day. If they cry to get outside, they will eventually stop. Patience is required. No pets should be allowed to roam outdoors. They're not wild animals. I was very disappointed to see the casual mentions of this in this book. Otherwise, it's useful.

Very easy to read and understand... really helps me to understand the cat world! would recommend to all cat owners

OK if you are getting your first cat but, for experienced cat owners or ones with more than one cat, this is unlikely to be much help.

This is the best book ever!

Having had a cat (2) and books about them, this is the most basic out of them all! It's okay for the person who has got a kitten for the first time. There are far more superior books on the market. I wouldn't recommend.

Great book learnt a lot from it as I have a 10 month old kitten would recommend to a freind.

As the title states, Compete cat care. Full of hints and tips on how to keep your cat happy and healthy.

A nice clear and generally simple book on cats although there is much more detail on illness and such like.

Lots of useful information but not as complete as I would like.
