We’ve been using this product for a quite few years now. It always works well and fast on the green algae. Which always arrives with springs warmer weather. Just make sure it says yellow treat and not a yellow something else!!

Getting rid of pool greenness
When there’s algae clinging to the sides and bottom of the pool and chlorine just doesn’t seem to touch it, this treatment can really work well. Of course, it’s also an indication that there may be an issue with nutrients such as phosphates in the water, so it is a good idea to have your water tested. You might also need to use a phosphate remover as well.

I live in a hot climate and use the pool treat on a continuing basis to prevent algae in my pool. This is the most affordable and easiest way to replenish my stock of the product.
