quality is good
Our pool construction was recently completed and we wanted to have all the safety equipment ready. Have not had to use this and hope we never do but it gives a little peace of mind with the kids in the pool.

Perfect for Pool Safety
While I only had this buoy for about 2 weeks, it is worth the purchase. We needed something for our pool for children just in case. The ring is not Intended to fit around the waist but act as a life saver to throw out in case of an emergency. I also purchased a durable water proof rope / created a belay from the deck. It is exactly what we needed!

ROPE DISINTEGRATES- DO NOT BUY!!
Ropes completely disintegrate making a mess. What kind of rope disintegrates. Poor, poor quality. Waste of money.

Looks good by my pool. Lightweight. Functional.
Wanted a functional and inexpensive throw ring for poolside. This does the job. It's attractive, too, with the multi colored ribbons. Very light weight but sturdy.

Not durable at all
We bought this for our home pool for safety with young kids and, although it was never needed, served its purpose by hanging there. But, after only three summers it was done - broken by the sun's UV beating.The rope turned to dust after two years and the blue wraps/bands faded, frayed and ripped. The actual ring is still fine but the whole thing looks like crap. We have pretty low standards but did expect this item to be made for everyday sunlight. Because it seems dumb to find a special place for this in the shade we are replacing it with something else.So, what we thought was a purchase to last a generation is out after three years.
