Definitely worth a read.
Very good book, I read this book because I watched the film the foreigner. I can say that I am not disappointed, the book is very well described and allows you to vividly imagine what Nguyen is doing and his surroundings. I have read three Stephen Leather books and I personally feel that this one is his best, or at least the best one I have read.

Stephen Leather at his best.
The first book by Stephen Leather that I ever read. I couldn't put it down. I lent it to my father who said the same, He passed it to my brother who also agreed. I never got it back, so bought another copy which I lent to a friend and he lent it to someone else. I never got it back, so this copy is now mine and I won't be lending it as I want to read it again. Stephen Leather is a special favourite of mine now and I pre-order his books as they never disappoint. His books would make really good action movies but I have only seen a screen adaptation of one of them-the Bombmaker-which is another good read if you like thrillers. I'm a big Stephen Leather fan now.

An amazing story that never faults in its detail from Knightsbridge ...
An amazing story that never faults in its detail from Knightsbridge in Central London to the Irish countryside. Whilst fiction, it is a story that is so exciting and could be possible. For anyone wanting a good read this is an excellent book. I read this whilst on holiday and have to say that it is amongst one of the best books I have ever read.

Unusual hero.
Great story kept me enthralled throughout. This is advertised as the first in the Mike Cramer series, but he does not really play a part until late on in the story and then is only an incidental character. Stephen Leather obviously decide to pick the character up and run with him in later novels. The main character is the so caledl Chinaman although he is Vietnamese. He makes an unusual hero in this story.
