Poor Tech Support - Horn Doesn't Work
I still don't know how loud this horn is, because it didn't work. After fabricating a mounting plate so that I could mount it to the stock location on my bike, I ran all the wiring in accordance with the instructions.I did have to go back and redo the connections on the power wire. No big deal. When all was said and done, it sounded like a sick drill. Contacted tech support and of course the first thing they said was that it sounded like I reversed the wires at the horn. Ummm, yeah, no. I took a flashlight and made sure I was connecting them properly. But I humored them anyway and reversed them. Same sound.I tried every one of their suggestions and it still sounded like a sick drill instead of a horn. After the final thing they had me try (power straight from horn to battery), one would think they would have the decency to say that the horn was bad, but no. No response. Nice /sarcasmI will adjust this review after Amazon sends my replacement horn, but still will maintain that their tech support is less than ideal.Edit 4/28/2013: The replacement horn arrived. I installed it and it worked the first time. Now for the bad. The description says that this horn is 118 decibels and 2x louder than the factory horn. I downloaded a sound meter app for my smart phone and tested my factory horn. It tested out at about 80 decibels. This horn tested out at about 85 - 88 decibels when the phone was in the exact same spot as the test with my factory horn. Not sure where Wolo learned math, but 88 is only 75% of 118 and only about 10% more than the factory horn. In my book, that is false advertising. It is a bit louder than the factory horn, but really it is a different kind of tone than the factory horn. All in all, it was a waste of money considering that I had to fabricate a bracket and purchase a host of different electrical connectors only to have it peg out at 75% of what is stated in the description.Edit 4/30/2013: Was riding to work this morning and had to use the horn. I pressed the horn button and the only sound it made was that of a sick drill just like the first one. All in all, it only worked for two days and about 8 presses of the horn button.I will not be getting anymore horns from Wolo! Buyer Beware!

1996 Road King, had to tap a hole.
I just put this on my 1996 Road King, my factory horn gave up the ghost. Two things to know about this horn; First, your factory horn 'bell' cover has to go ... it won't fit over this horn. Second thing to know, the supplied bolt did not fit my factory horn mount. I had to tap it out just slightly higher. It really was plug and play like they claim. It took all of 20 minutes, and 10m of that was finding my drill motor and bit kit, and actually drilling the hole. Seriously, 20m max. This particular horn comes in at 90db using a real meter to measure it. You're may very, I noticed the manufacturer is careful not to make any db claims.I've been told Harley Davidson claims their horns are 80db but come in for real about 65 or so. I don't know about that ... mine was dying and my purring cat was louder ... but this horn made me jump when I hit it, and I knew I was hitting it. It drew my neighbor to come outside and see what all the noise was as well. I don't need more than this horn is giving me, the point is let them know I'm there, not panic them and have them do something stupid like swerve into me or slam on the brakes.Anyway, I'd give it 5 stars, but they did make me get my drill motor and bits out!!!I would recommend this to a friend. Its not the loudest horn you can get but is compact and loud enough!

Fun FUN
Awesome HORN! I wired it into my horn that was already there, instead of removing the horn. So, I have this one, and my factory horn that blast at the same time. I’d give loudness an 8/10. I’m happy with it but I’m not 100% sure that it will blow this windows out of someone’s car. Easy to install. Looks good. Very small for how loud it is. I’m keeping it.
