This this is awesome/ powerful
Wow! That sums it up here. I bought for a replacement pump for my 1000L tank. Lifts to a height of over 3/4 feet with ease and with power. Highly recommend! I would buy this again in the future. If you use this do not restrict the flow to a smaller size pipe inlet. I am running this as an inline pump and it works fantastic! I tested submersible feature too and it works exceptionally.

Pump buzzes
We've had this pump for 3 weeks, and it started making a buzzing noise from vibration. We tried all the tricks to quiet it with no luck

I tried three different Oase pumps. None worked or failed after a few hours.This one has been working. Good Value!!

Overrated GPH, noisy
I bought this as an upgrade to a 318 GPH Eheim pump. What a mistake! Even though this Sicci is rated at 715 GPH it put 1/3 as much water through the same circuit. There needs to be an objective standard for flow rates, as it seems each mfr has their own standards. I should note that Sicci Syncra-Silent pumps have worked well for me. This was a disappointment.

Impeller cover won't stay attached.
To start, I have multiple other Sicce pumps/wave makers. I really liked them all until I got this one. Maybe this one was used from Amazon to begin with. Who knows. The compartment that the impeller is in would not stay attached to the main body rendering this useless. I was trying to use it with the hose barb attachment. The slightest shift in the hose would either remove the attachment or the whole impeller cover.
