Delicious tea.

I'm an Earl Grey tea lover! I've tried about 12 different brands in the last couple of years (and the second blended in Scotland).As it was a good deal in the Warehouse, I thought I'd give it a try! To my surprise, instead of receiving one 8.8 oz. bag, they sent me a case of TWELVE! So I actually paid $0.39 a bag :DWhen it's loose, I don't make my tea as strong as maybe some do, so perhaps that's why the bergamot oil didn't come across as much as I had hoped. But as a black tea, it is very pleasant! Next time I'll use less water, and see how it tastes.I really like a strong bergamot flavor, and as I haven't found any "food grade", I may try scenting it with the essential oil I have (someone suggested putting 20 drops on a cloth, or paper napkin, and leaving it in a jar of tea for a couple of weeks).For more info on the company, and where they source their teas, go here: brodies1867.co.uk/teaI would definitely recommend Brodies to anyone that likes black tea in general; but whether it will satisfy your bergamot craving, that's subjective!

I first discovered Brodies during a vacation in Scotland. I bought a tin and absolutely loved the robust, deep flavor of their tea.Fast-forward some years, I have been running around their stock trying what they have to offer.This earl grey is spot on. It rivals any other earl grey we have tried. You just can't go wrong. Brodies is top notch. I have never been disappointed in their products.This tea is minimally bitter, brews well, and has a pleasant earl grey flavor. The liquor is deep mahagony in color. All around rich and lovely. I have purchased it multiple times.
