The Simpsons 3-Inch Gold Homer Buddha

I must have gotten a different one than the other reviewers, because the Homer Buddha I got was completely golden looking, not yellow, not mustard orange, but just like the picture.It came new, unopened in box. The material is heavy plastic, and the casting came out smooth, with no sharp edges, no imperfections.Also it’s hilarious. He’s perched on a doughnut. – I know it’s not exactly like the Golden Buddha Homer in the episode (Season 16, Goo Goo Gai Pan) – but it shouldn’t have to be an exact creation of the image from the show. This is an artistic interpretation, and it comes out nicely.The price was a little expensive for a piece like this, but the Homer Buddha idea has a sentimental value between myself and the person I bought it for, so for me it was worth it. I’d actually like to see a collectible like this go for somewhere between the $8 and $10 range due to its small size.Finally, he comes with a pretzel and prayer beads. The pretzel reminded me of the episode (Season 8, The Twisted World of Marge Simpson) that was so popular in its heyday, for its quintessential shape and visible chunky salt.It’s super cute and makes me smile.

I absolutely LOVE this little Homer Buddha! He is perched on my computer monitor at work and I love seeing his little golden belly every day!I love this so much, I actually purchased 3 in total! Two will be gifted to my fellow Simpson loving friends.Make sure you double check the little pouch he comes in which is inside the box. I was so excited to open him, I took him out and tossed the package and I'm pretty sure I accidentally threw away the little items than fit in his hands!With that being said, I am actually pretty into his look without anything in his cute little hands.Buy this!

Not as shiny as the picture, but I'd say it's pretty close. I'm satisfied. I see a lot of complaints about the pretzel and the donut not being in the package. Make sure you check the bottom of the plastic that the homer comes in. I thought mine was missing them also, but something made me check again. They were at the bottom of the plastic in a smaller clear plastic pouch. Easy to overlook.

Love love love this Homer Buddha statue. It came wrapped in a silver KidRobot wrap and a little bag in the corner of the Homer Buddha box that held the beads and pretzel. The corner of the Homer box was bent in but other than that the statue was what I expected thank you KidRobot.

I would of gave this 5 stars but I gave it 4 only because I wanted the box not to be dented .... But it was sadly so I'm a little disappointed but other than that the product is awesome.

I had been hoping to snag one of these since they first launched. Too bad folks were selling them for $99 not $9. I am incredibly happy to have one now. Exactly what I was expecting. More of a bronze color than gold but I honestly prefer the greenish gold tone. Came as expected, unopened and with all the bits.

I really liked this buddha homer but was just a bit disappointed when I got the box. When it comes to collecting I like collecting everything. And the little take out box it came in was untaken care of!

it came in perfectly. sitting on the dash of my car. love it. for anyone that mentioned there was no pretzel and beads, did you guys check inside the actual package? when you open up the package there's homer and then a separate little package with pretzel and bead

L'oggetto è arrivato nella sua scatolina, ogni pezzo era stato riposto in una bustina in modo da non essere smarrito nel viaggio. La collana e la ciambellina sono removibili, il resto della figura è un unico pezzo. Oggetto da esposizione molto carino, materiale plastica leggerissima. Consigliato per gli appassionati della serie.

Solo per il fatto che raffigura Homer Simpson in versione Buddha, meriterebbe 5 stelle.Parlando seriamente, è costruttivamente molto curato, nulla a che vedere con un gadget economico.Peccato solo che la finitura non sia così lucida come mostra la foto!
