Very good product, the gloss is deep and rich, and wasn’t too hard to apply. I even applied the wax on my rims too, it gave them a nice shine as well. I will say however, on my car, this stuff does leave some streaking, but it might have been my fault for applying too much product, especially during the summer when my car’s paint was always warm. Usually 1-2 sprays per panel is all you really need. Overall the gloss is pretty great which I really liked above all. And in my experience, the product lasted more or less 4-5 months with 2 coatings. Living in a hot area however made the hydrophobic properties pretty weak after 2 months, but was still slightly beading water until about 5 months. Also, in my experience, I felt the product attracted dust, I live in a dusty area so I guess it couldn’t be helped. Overall though, considering the gloss, longevity, and price, I’ll give it 4 stars for what it is. It’s not best product, but it’s good considering it’s price.

I have a 20 year old black RX-8 that say outside in the driveway, not driven (for medical reasons) for about three years. Fifteen hundred dollars at the mechanic, and it runs perfectly. I was ready to have it repainted, having been mistreated so badly. I bought all kinds of things to bring the paint back to life. Surprisingly, Mazda must have put on really good factory paint. Well, one thing I bought was Turtle Wax's polish for black cars. I hadn't expected much. How could polish made for black cars make that much difference? Well, it did. So, instead of the traditional carnauba wax, I fell for the promise that this black spray-on wax would be ok. At least it wouldn't mean having to put on and buff carnauba wax. Well, the hype turned out to be not hype. Obviously, Turtle Wax had put a lot of engineering and chemistry into more modern waxes. So, after the black polish, I sprayed on the black wax. At first I saw streaking on the hood. Oh, well...it's obviously not perfect. I let it cure for a day or so. No visible streaks! Now, I was just today trying to explain to my friend why black cars are so difficult. I told him about swirls. Well, I can't say that the Turtle Wax black formulation got rid of all the scratches and swirls. But, unless you look for them, the paint looks really good. I live in Oregon. There's hardly a day without rain. It must be a couple of months since I waxed the car. Every day, it's the only one in the parking lot with tiny water beads from the rain. (Maybe I'm the only one who even bothered to wax.) The shine is gorgeous. It's even reflexive. And the rain is irrelevant. If there's a day without too much rain, I'll put on a second coat. A spray-on wax? For black cars? Actually, it works. If you, like me, have a 2004 black car, just get this. You'll be as surprised as I am. I even go outside just to look at it.

Easy to apply worked great looks amazing

It is the best to rejuvenate the shine of a black car and make it look new again.

I've used this on my obsidian black Lexus IS 250 several times now. The pigment in it does do a good job at covering minor scratches and filling in little rock marks and making things like that less visible. I find it frustrating to get an even buff with this product. I think it's at least partially because living in Florida I rarely have a cool surface to work with. But this stuff just seems to smear and leave an uneven application even though it feels smooth to the polishing cloth. Looking down into the finish it looks like the product is not spreading and covering properly. So what I'm doing is using this in places where there are scratches that needed covering, buffing that area as clear as I could get it after the scratch is filled. Then I will go over it with a different product so the finish and shine look even.

海外ではずいぶんと評価が高いですが、日本でのレビューが見当たらないので心配しながら施工してみました。 拭き取りは、そこそこ重めです。 拭きムラにはなりにくいほうだと思いますが、なるにはなります。その場合は、もう一度軽く塗ってから再度拭きあげると取れます。 気になる傷の隠蔽効果も、一般的なワックスとそれほど変わりませんが、簡易系よりもあります。 ただ、色々とコーティング剤のある中で、今後もあえてこれを選ぶかと言われると、選ばないと思います。

Excellent stuff. bought this , and the ceramic acrylic black polish to rejuvenate the paint on my 12 year old audi. Spent a few solid hours with the DA polisher and the polish, with a polishing pad to bring the paint back to excellent condition, not scratch free but even after just the polish it was clearer, richer and glossier. after the recommended 24 hour cure time I applied 1 layer of this product and was immediately impressed with the results, improved gloss and slickness, which improves as it cures further. A definite improvement in the gloss, depth of colour and clarity. It weathers well too, maintaining its shine even hour long commutes in the heavy rain, it does show water spots, but they all do.. It is fairly easy to work with, despite what turtle wax will tell you, i would avoid using it in the sun/on hot panels, and you need to spread it and work it in thoroughly. It is WELL worth spending a few minutes doing that, then buff off well. All-in-all, SUPERB.
