Great Concealed Carry Self Defense Dagger!
The quality of the knife is excellent. Blade comes sharp but I sharpened it more. The handle is a little short if you have large hands but it’s manageable. The sheath is constructed of very stiff glass filled plastic and the belt clip is super stiff but you want it to be so that it mounts to your belt securely. The firm click you get when sheathing the dagger assures you’ve secured the knife. Highly recommend.

Perfect for what it’s designed for.
Perfect little left hand knife to wear next to your concealed carry. The sheath is made well enough and retains the blade well. I have smaller hands and the handle seems to fit well. I could imagine the front of the handle-choil might bite if you really wrench into something, but I haven’t experienced this yet. Blade steel is a reasonable and sharp option so long as you use the knife for what it’s intended for.

Nice, and compact
Gave this as a gift, k-bar is high quality. It's cool, compact, nice durable sheath, and clip. Fits nicely in my hand. I wear a large glove.

Good Defense Blade
++ The blade is sturdy with a solid construction. Sharp enough out of the box and very concealable for EDC. Seems like a good choice! - - The handle is solid with no real tackiness for grip, no give. The biggest complaint is the sheathe which is just terrible with respect to tension holding the blade and carrying on the belt. The adjustment available are completely un satisfactory. Sum-up... The knife is good and the sheathe is terrible and expect to look for a replacement. I would gladly have paid more for a better included sheathe and grip.

IMO the BEST value and most concealable!
I believe the Ka Bar Investigator is better than the TDI because it carries horizontally, it is more comfortable to carry and for me I can draw this dasher. I’m use to my pinky finger not on the handle so this is three finger hold for most people. The TDI is all fingers grip unless you have very large hands.

It’s good, but too small for my large hand’s. Good for wife.
It’s a great knife, but I’ll probably be returning it because it’s too small for my large hands. This would be a good option for a woman or someone with small hands. I prefer the original model.

Perfect for EDC
I have been looking for a long time for an EDC fixed blade knife. This is the one. The angle of the handle is ergonomic and fits well in my hand. I wear large gloves. I wear it horizontal on my belt next the belt buckle and it is very comfortable. While sitting, squatting, climbing, and running I barely notice it is there. The sheath has a positive snap and retains the blade tight with no noticable wiggling. It is a K-Bar, which for me reminds me of when I carried a K-Bar as a Marine. Over all, I am very pleased with my purchase. So far, I've used it as a utility knife, a bush craft knife, and after washing, I've cut steak with it. Works very well and sharpens very well. Get you a quality stone and a strip, and it will stay sharp a very long time.

Easily concealed
Small edc for my weak side. Easily concealed under my shirt. plenty of holes for position on the sheath. Had to sharpen the edge a little for my taste, point is sharp. Firs snug in the sheath.

I didn't realize how much smaller this knife was vs the original TDI model. For those who want a smaller form factor, this may suit your needs. I have small hands and I found this knife a bit too small for my liking. Again, it depends on how you plan to use it.. overall quality is the typical Kabar excellence that they're known for.
