The boys said this was a Fun and awesome video game they loved it keeps them busy for hours

I bought this for my boys for Christmas ages 7 & 18 and they love it! Hunter call of the wild was their favorite until now. This game has more features and it’s much easier to earn money in the game! If someone you know likes hunting games.. this is the one!!

Was an okay game husband wasn’t really interested in it

I got this for my son and my husband started playing it and it became their game. It’s fun and it looks pretty realistic.

First time playing a game since the original Playstation. I wanted to shoot animals not go through a story to play. Different from the old days.

My grandsons loved it

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!

First all, graphics wise it's very nice. They did a good job overall there.However, they game gets old and annoying very very fast. You start off in a tutorial where you learn how to analyze tracks to follow. You get a dog, a rifle, and permit to hunt and you follow your dog to the stand. Kill the deer and have to walk back to the cabin. Pretty cool.Then the actual game starts. You have limited funds to buy permits and equipment - you sell harvested animals for more money. And I'm pretty sure the game is rigged to show animals you don't have a permit for. There are 3 hunting regions with 2 locations each. You need permits for each animal per region, and there's a lot, so you can't afford them all plus gun plus scope plus whatever else you want.Once you start the hunt, it's dang near impossible to find any tracks without a dog. And even then following them and actually finding said animal is hard and takes forever. You literally spend HOURS on in real life time tracking 1 animal. And along the way you'll see every single animal you don't have a permit for.You can't drive vehicles. There aren't missions. No "goals". You just pick a location, hunt what hopefully have a permit for, and either keep or sell the harvest. I think of my 6 hours plus playing I killed 2 deer. It's insane. There are fast travel locations in map you have to find, but not all stands and blinds allow you to fast travel. So if you walk across a map that takes 20 minute IRL, you have to walk back to the main cabin to go to the lodge. They need to make all findable items fast travel points.So unless you just enjoy a game where you literally just walk around for hours, it's not that great.
