Worked great! Knocked the moss in my lawn out in a couple of days and did no harm my fescue. Really worked, better than expected. Great stuff!

Worked OK, but I did require a second treatment to clear the moss from the lawn. I applied immediately after lawn was rained on and at a heavy application rate and after a month had to purchase a second bag and retreat the moss. Looks good now, but was a lot of effort to reach this point.

I have an area that is in the shade all along a fence. The moss builds up over the year is a lot. With just a single use and within a few days I found that the moss was dying and new grass was starting to come back. Love this stuff....

I suddenly had a lot of moss on my lawn this year, and I applied it as suggested. It did kill some moss, but not all. I applied it second time. 4 weeks after the first application, I still have some moss in the lawn. Based on this experience, I would apply it again only if the lawn has some small patches of moss, not if it really has a lot of moss like this year.

Applied several times to large areas of moss taking over our lawn, sprinkling product as directed. It didn’t take long to work with moss turning patchy brown in a few days and completely dying off in a couple of weeks.

**BASICALLY a re-review from the latest purchase March 2024***I as you can read from my previos review am a Scott's fan , not with the AMAZON SUPPLIED version of mossex.As another poster mentioned that they thought that this supply was different then what you buy in home depot.It is obviously true, as my neighbor and I found out.He bought it at home depot and myself here, but the results were super different.You can see in the pictures that my moss was at best damaged and is making a come back, his is all dead, turned black as it should.We both happen to put our versions down on our lawns the same day which was the day before a 3 day series of rain here in the Boston suburbs.Unfortunately my version appears to be defective/old stick, I love scotts products, NOT Loving the obvious fact I was sent a defective or out of date stock.Now I have to figure out what to apply without killing my lawnThis is all being sold by Scott so really puzzled as to why this happened.Last time I will purchase from scotts on Amazon as it obvious you are taking a chance on getting good stock.Not the end of the world , but what a pain in te backside as I trusted scotts to send a working product.----'----‐----------------------------------------Pre covid this stuff worked great if you did the work that is to first scrap away/rake away as much moss as possible.The last two users, doing the above only had a 50/50 result.That is in some places it worked great some very little results.I use there products starting in the spring through the fall , using pre emergints , fertilizers , beetle control, etc.It's truly disappointing that post covid the product dosent work as well as pre covid.Unfortunately looks like I will have to explore other products

I had quite a bit of moss in a section of my grass. I bought one bag of this in the fall and saw a small improvement. I applied more in the spring, but this time I also added lime. 6 weeks later and the moss is almost completely gone. I probably needed the lime, even though I've been using it regularly, but the 2 combined really made a difference.Just my experience.
