GMYLE 2 in 1 Bundle Soft-Touch Frosted Hard Case with Keyboard Cover Compatible with MacBook Pro 13 inch with CD-ROM (Model: A1278) - Aqua Green

I was so excited to get this case in the mail since I just got my macbook pro and I wanted a case to protect it. After looking online for a while I found this case. I decided to get the case after reading all of the good reviews. I loved the color that it showed in the picture and I though that it would be really nice to have a cover for my key board. My case came in today and I am less then pleased. I opened the plastic around the case and discovered that there were a couple of scratches and a deep cut on the front of my case (and they were not from me because the box was big and there is no way that I could have cut or scratched it). There were also black marks on it and when I tried to scratch them off the frost on the case came off with it. I could not get all of the black marks off of my case but I did manage to get rid of a few. Another thing that I am not pleased about is the color. I loved the aqua green color shown in the picture and how it was so bright. The color of the case is nothing like its picture. You can't really tell what color it is. It looks like dirty lake water. The keyboard cover doesn't seem to fit around the keys right and it makes it difficult to type. My overall thoughts on this product are not very good. I decided to keep it because it really wasn't worth paying to ship it back. If your looking for a case I would not advise getting this one but that is just my own personal opinion.

I bought this case for myself before I bought my laptop because I wanted to make sure it got here on time. I don't remember how fast it came but that's not the point. I gave it five stars because over 2 years, its only NOW starting to crack a little on the right bottom corner and top left corner and the all of the little foam pads on the bottom have fallen off. What I did to fix that though was go to the craft store and buy some foam, cut circles that would fit the space and glued them in. It worked perfectly. Yes, they fall out eventually from wear and tear but thats cheaper than buying a whole new case. I love this case. I originally thought it was going to be Aqua Green and when it arrived it was that, just not as Aqua. Don't imagine the color that bright. It's still really nice though! I recommend this case to anyone who isn't incredibly picky about durability and such. This case is NOT going to protect your computer like an Otterbox or anything like it. It will look nice and keep it from getting scratched up. The cracks don't change the minimal protection it gives my computer.

I just received this in the mail today, and my favorite part is the color! The color is pretty true to the picture, just not as bright in real life.The bottom was really easy to figure out which way it snaps on. The one part I don't like with the bottom is that it doesn't feel completely secure, and is a bit wobbly. I was really worried at first before I figured out the back actually snaps on.The top was confusing to put on, mostly because I didn't know which way was the front or back. The corners and sides of the top feel a bit loose, but not to the point where I'm worried the top case will come off.The transparent keyboard cover isn't the absolute best, but it works and does it's purpose.Overall, I'm please with the product, but I definitely think it could have made to fit a little tighter and more secure especially on the top corners and sides. I'm hoping I grow to come to terms with the loose fit.

The product itself is just want I wanted. The color is exactly what I imagined and the plastic is not shiny or smooth. It has a velvet feel. The keyboard protector is a little weird to get use to but it does its job and is pretty easy to type in. It's a great price considering buying both of these in stores could cost $20 EACH. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I bought it when it was not through prime so the wait was a little longer and it was about $1-2 more (not that big a deal).If you're looking for a sea foam green macbook case and keyboard protector this is the product for you!

After 4 years, my old case was starting to crack and chip. I wanted to find something similar in color to my previous one that was a granny smith apple green. This aqua green one looked pretty close, plus it came with a keyboard cover, so I bought it.Aqua green is not green at all. It is very much blue, a light baby blue. Nothing like the photo.The label on the package said aqua green, and I even tried putting it on my Macbook just to check but it was definitely blue. Not even a blue/green teal color. Just blue.I wasn't too adamant about needing a green case and was going to keep it because I need a new case, but then I tried putting on the keyboard cover that came with it and that didn't fit. If I got it to fit the keys on the left half of the keyboard, the ones on the right didn't fit. And vice versa. The whole cover was just wide enough to not be able to sit properly over my keys. I packed everything back up and sent it back.

I like the color a lot. I needed to replace my last one because when I changed backpacks, my new one didnt have a laptop slot and it caused my laptop case to crack. I definitely recommend getting a shell. It is light weight, changes the color from everyone elses mac, and a few bucks to protect your computer is worth it. I recommend the silocone keyboard cover as well. It really protects the keys and is super easy to clean.

The case fits perfectly and the color is very pleasant. The shipment was also extremely quick. My only complaint is that the clear keyboard case that comes with it is absolutely horrible. Its made out of cheap thin plastic, and does not adhere to the keyboard at all. I thought it would be like the other keyboard covers that ive seen, which are made out of heavier rubber, so they form a tight seal between the keys. :/

I got this item today and it fits fine with no problems. I was surprised to find that the keyboard cover fits fine also, even though the description states that it is for the US version. So all is good :-)
