First the good parts. they emailed a size chart to me to check the size which was helpful for the uk, and replied back quickly and politely. The product arrived ahead of delivery time, and lastly on the surface the coat looked like the picture. But i'm afraid that when you see this coat in real life. You probably would'nt part with £10 for it. The quality of this coat is so low that i can say with total honesty that i have never bought anything so poor before in my life. [i'm 50]. My wife actually sat there and laughed her socks off looking at it. Oh and its not waxed either its like some cheap kitchen cloth material that absorbs water for fun. The sleeves are different, the weak magnet does not keep the coat closed, and the hooks a waste of time. So no way of fastening it really.. You could take it to a tailors and have a zip fitted. But the coat is too embarrassing to wear really. [unless your homeless] So do not buy this coat if your after the ryan gosling look. You will be massively disapointed. Heads off to the charity shop now.

Well got the item, I have to say I'm very disappointed with the description/picture.I'm kind of in the middle of the two other reviews posted so far.The item is not as it appears in the picture, the picture shows an item that looks to be a very dark green robust waxed jacket but what arrives is a black (true, black is described in the listing) cotton jacket and is based loosely on the style of the film.The good...quick delivery.......The item fits fairly well across the top, shoulders etc (I got xs for chest 38 - I'm a sml/med)Well made construction/stitching.DESCRIPTION...The jacket is just a lined black cotton/canvas material and not a particularly thick cotton canvas but a kind of summer jacket cotton.I wouldn't say its kitchen cloth as described elsewhere as the cotton seems good enough quality in itself for a cotton summer jacket, just that you don't expect this for the item as pictured.Definitely no wax coating in sight (isn't there a trade description law !?) if there is its hidden well!!Not the traditional 'waxed cotton' you would think of that uses the term, seems to be just plain cotton! (maybe it's doped in a light Waterproofing?)Doubt it's waterproof in any realistic form and not going to try it.The few small magnet closures are mostly pretty week (collar/lapel one is ok as shown in pic - the small oblong box stitch one)The midrift closure hook is pointless as the item is too loose around the midrift to use it (it will need to be re-sighted on the garment to give a closer fit)Because the cotton canvas is a thin unwaxed material the collar is a bit too floppy even with the added thickness of the wool effect lining.The shoulder area on officer K jacket has visible shoulder patches as a design detail, this jacket just has a single thin line stitching here to simulate the look but it's barely visible, you may just about see it in the pics.The sleeve cuff is just straight cut not angled/sloped as per officer K.What it does have going for it is the jacket seems very sturdy and competently stitched together.I think if it was realistically pictured/listed and priced maybe £60 then someone may buy it as good quality fancy dress wear and given it a higher star rating.I know that to get a proper officer K replica anywhere near the film kind is going to cost probably a few hundred pounds but my expectations from the listing, is not what I feel represents the actual item in the final sum of its parts.In conclusion...don't raise any expectations of an Officer K replica that will fully look the part on, instead think of it as more of a well finished fancy dress costume jacket.Not a completely bad attempt as it seems a good quality stitched item and would be OK with a few tweaks as a good general 'Mac' type jacket in the general style officer K.I just think the execution of it and the pictures are not of the true item that it supposedly representsWould I have bought it knowing what I know now?....No! not for this price and only because I believed I was buying something different (a replica item) not because of quality issues.I'm not going to return it too much hassle, I'm going to keep it to remind me to be careful of Amazon seller pictures and I may also try and alter the bad points myself to use as a fancy dress at sometime.

Jacket size and quality is very good but the fur collar is much brighter almost a ginger colour, which completely changes the look from the picture. Am going to attempt to dye the collar. Disappointed

- DO NOT BUY -From one fan of blade runner to another, if you are looking for a screen accurate jacket do not buy this piece. While I have not bought this item (as it would be a total waste of money) I have done some researching to try and find more about this jacket. The picture has actually been stolen from another company called Magnoli Clothiers who make an accurate, very expensive jacket. If you want to know more about this read the other reviews as they reflect the quality. The price seems modest enough for such a nice jacket but it is diabolically hideous, please, please, please don't purchase this jacket.

Most screen accurate jacket that is available for less than 300 gbp, closure is weak due to magnets being low pull, advise to add Velcro strip about a half inch thick but do not iron on as it will damage the wax coating. Use fabric glue. Alternatively you could attach your own zip or button closure. Fantastic looking. Really warm.
