W is for Wombat

I saw this book in the Melbourne City library bookshop when on a recent visit to Australia. It was very colourful and stereotypically Australian. Sadly I did not buy it there.However, I was so impressed with the artwork, that on my return I decided to purchase it and send it to my 2 year old grandson who is delighted with it, especially the new found (non English)animals and subsequent words. He relishes in pronouncing them as accurately as he can for his age. The book was delivered in the allotted time and in perfect condition.
