Saves time and mess.
I've now installed two of these on my 2004 Forester and couldn't be happier. I trialed one on the oil sump and after many successful oil changes without any leaks, added one to my transmission sump when I did the ATF. The plastic on the lever means even when the plug is hot the valve can be actuated without burning my fingertips.I also bought the EZ (H-001) Silver Small Hose End and someATP Vinyl-Flex PVC Food Grade Plastic Tubing, Clear, 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD, 100 feet Length(okay, probably didn't need 100ft but I'm set for oil/transmission changes for the foreseeable future). With these, if I'm doing just an oil change (not the filter) then I don't even need a drip pan, I just pipe it straight into the waste jug.It's a time saver due not having to double the handle the used oil (into a drip tray then into a waste container) and the lack of clean up required after (cleaning the drip tray and any oil that missed the drip tray). I've recommended it to a number of people and they've been happy with them too.

Great product but pricey.
It’s a great product! Easy to install easy to use, especially useful on cars and trucks with obstructions like engine mounts and crossmembers. A fitting can easily be added and plastic two being attached to divert oil around crossmembers and search. However they need to bring the price down $20-$30 is too much to pay for a ball valve.

I am so happy I bought this. Being a women I hate to deal with shady mechanics or quick oil change places. They are always trying to raise the price on me. Now I can easily do my own oil changes. I will be certain to buy this for all my futures vehicles.

Better than Fumoto valve with new improvements.
I've buying and using Fumoto but this EZ valve has better refinement, improved gasket that seals much better, switch handle with plastic helps not burning my fingers during hot oil drain, and removable drain adapter. Fits perfectly for my Subaru Impreza. Sorry Fumoto, I'm sold on EZ drain valve.
