By the week, or by the month they are both GREAT!
These is very easy to set up and get ready to use. Honestly it's easy enough that it can be done with one person; however, I do recommend that two people work together on it. It just makes it easier to make sure it's lined up straight and all of that. Both the weekly and the monthly calendar come with 2 pieces of complimentary chalk inside the tube. I personally prefer to use chalk makers because I feel they show up brighter, and I think they write smoother than traditional chalk. Both the chalk, and chalk markers wipe away clean so you can start fresh with a "clean slate" so to speak.*WEEKLY PLANNER* I really like the weekly planner for writing out chores for my son. It gives plenty of room to write out specific details if needed, or to much of the dismay of my son more than one chore. I also think it would be great for meal planning, or just in general writing out your schedule, or things that you need to remember.*Monthly Calendar* I have to say I love that the top says "One day at a time" I think all to often people rush though life, and don't take time to pause and enjoy the moment. What I have found with a lot of monthly calendars is that after you write the date in box you don't have a lot of room left to really put anything down. This calendar does leave room for you to add notes. Plus it has a nice space at the bottom for notes or messages to be left.The only con I would say that I've found so far is that they appear to not stick to drywall that well. I'm not sure if there is to much texture, but the corners slowly come up, and if you don't press it back down than it fall off. That did happen to me, and I was able to slowly peel it apart without much damage to the planner. I didn't have any problem with it sticking to drywall. I'm not taking a star off because plaster isn't common practice in most houses anymore.I think these are great, and I highly recommend them. *I received these in exchange of my honest opinion/review.

Very handy to have. Don't put it up on textured walls though! I learned that lesson. But that's on me, not the fault of the product.

Perfect size
Size allows for many events to be listed for each day. Easy to stick. Used in fridge door.
