D2836 Brushless Outrunner Motor 2~4S Helicopter RC Motor for RC Airplane Fixed-Wing Drone FPV (1500KV)

Good motor lots of power on 4s and no problems so far with around 10 flights on it.

These motors rock. I think I might get one in every size. They work perfect for foam board scratch builds. Very tough, and run smooth. Just as good as a name brand motor 3X the price. I have 3 different sizes, all still going strong.

Seems to do the job, but only have 5 minutes of flying on it so far. Great price compared to the motor suggested for the plane

Perfect motor for 2 Meter ALES gliders. May want to push out shaft so it exits on the other side of the motor.

Motor came in good shape and working order.

They all worked great with good power. One failed after I put it in the ground like a lawn dart so user error of that one.

Although this motor is smooth-running and the rotor shaft can be easily pressed through the end bell to convert from rear mount to front mount, the stator magnet-wires are brought out to serve as the motor lead wires instead of the usual method of factory-terminating this magnet wire at the motor frame with stranded silicone-insulated wire as the motor leads. If you cut off the supplied male barrel connectors and plan to splice into the motor leads you will find the many tiny wires on each motor lead are a real pain to strip and connect to. I suggest using either a mating female barrel connector as the splice method or solder directly to the male barrel connector, being careful not to un-solder any of the tiny magnet wires in the process.

the only reason for 4 stars is the kit comes with wrong size prop adaptor. It is too small for the shaft prop mount. But I have other motors by the same manufacturer and they are good motors.
