This is fantastic for complicated minis
It’s so stretchy and strong, I’ve made tens of copies and haven’t noticed any degradation yet. My other moulds made from let’s resin wore out very quickly. This is worth the slightly higher cost. It degassed well, very little bubbles. The working time is very short but the instruction say that. It’s pretty great to have a workable mould you can use in under an hour. It’s very thick, so plan to use more than normal. Or if you run out, just mix up another batch. I had to do that and it was seamless even though one layer went down about twenty mins before the other. Also, this company has amazing service. Call them with questions, they’re super helpful.

Unbelievably Durable & Comfortable! Worth Every Penny!
I recently purchased Dragon Skin for a project I was working on, and I have to say—I am thoroughly impressed! This material is a game-changer. In terms of appearance, the finish is top-notch, with a nice sheen that looks really high quality. Whether you're using it for costume design or for more functional purposes, Dragon Skin definitely gives your project a professional, polished look. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend giving Dragon Skin a try.

Feels good
As smooth as I like it, the only downsides are price and availability. Easy to work with, lasts a long time, yields great results.

Product is great, the packaging on the other hand needs better quality control.
The product it's self is excellent, if not a bit pricey though I don't know of many alternatives with this quality in small quantities. Pours well, pot life is adequate and it sets relatively quick. Have had zero issues or quality changes in cured product when mixing with acrylics, can't say that for cheaper silicones. As for the downsides, while it is thin enough to get out most of the air bubbles, it isn't perfect and degassing is still required to eliminate them. Biggest issue I have is with the packaging, 2 out of 4 that I ordered from Amazon had both A & B bottles leaking, wasn't major, just enough to make the containers sticky but it seems to be a manufacturing issue as every one that was leaking had the seals crinkled like they were never fully sealed to begin with.

Its FX-Pro, whats not to love.
This stuff is great and I usually purchase it by the gallon from the manufacturer's main distributor, but whenever I need a small amount and I am travelling I grab these "sample kits" on Amazon. FX-Pro provides a very realistic skin for creating healthcare simulators and we often use it when we plan to train surgical procedures that need to have incisions or sutures. I have also used it to create training aids for service dogs due to its durability and supple yet strong shore hardness.

A great product for many applications.
I've now tried the majority of Smooth-On's silicone trial kits. None has been a disappointment, but this is one of my favorites. Although marketed towards special effects, it serves admirably when making molds, especially of objects with severe undercuts. I do plan on getting their Silc-Pig sampler and Psycho Paint systems, but in the meantime found that mica powders work well as a colorant. I see some reviews for Smooth-On products telling of the wrong product arriving, something I've experienced myself. The 3rd party sellers are at fault, not the manufacturer. It is a rare event though, and still worth it to have free shipping. When you order through Smooth-On, there is a shipping fee and none of the perks of prime.

Great product and easy on the skin
We have made a few molds out of this stuff and it works great! The amount if detail that comes off in the silicon is awesome. I love making molds for my resin art I do so this is perfect for making my own casts for resin crafts. It was pretty simple to use and the end results were great.

Shipper must return himself the package but it never come. One of the bottle was 1/2 fill. That's silicone. Impossible to reture this stuff with a broken cover.

Excellent, but there are no options to purchase larger quantities outside of a "trial pack". I would have liked to see an option for buying twice the amount without having to buy two lots of trial kits on Amazon. Besides the quantity provided being very small for my needs, the material itself is wonderful; it's soft and very flexible and makes for lovely prosthetic effects for costumes, and with pigmentation paint (sold on the same page) it can be made to almost any colour you want. I only use a dab of pigmentation paint for nearly 1/3rd of the silicone to get a solid colour, so it doesn't need much of it. However this is because it does not cure truly clear; it cures with a cloudy finish, so it is not suitable for making moulds that require you to clearly see your resin castings inside. It has a very high tear threshold so I have been able to make moulds of sculptures with a huge amount of undercuts without the silicone ripping apart; because of this my resin castings are gloriously detailed. This material is probably better used for making chocolate moulds or costume prosthetic effects, though it has served me well in resin casting too, but for the price it simply isn't worth it for resin works; purchase a tin-cure silicone instead for resin, but stick with a Smooth-On product if you can; they truly are super tear resistant and flexible compared to other silicone manufacturers I have used. All in all I give it 4 stars for meeting 4 out of 5 of my own personal requirements. 1. It cures incredibly fast. Usually within 20 minutes I can remove my silicone castings, or start casting resin in the silicone mould within 30 minutes. 2. It is easy to pigment and doesn't require a lot of the paint. 3. Super flexible and soft. Great for making skin effects for wearing, as well as moulds for casting. 4. Is suitable for skin use. The only flaw stopping it getting 5 stars is the quantity of the product for the price you pay. I would buy more silicone elsewhere for the same price and get very similar results, the only point winning me back to Smooth-On is the texture of the silicone itself. I still buy silicone elsewhere for my more ambitious projects, but for the occasional case when I need super-realistic Human flesh effects? I choose this over the rest.

They substituted a cheaper product from the same company and just added a sticker of their own with the higher quality product name on it.b Totally a bait and switch. Will be reporting.
