My 20 year old computer speakers conked out, so I was able to reclaim that space on my desk, which allowed me to move my monitor further back by about 6 inches. The existing 20" monitor wouldn't cut the mustard any longer, so I purchased this Samsung 24" monitor to take its place. It has fit into its new space quite nicely and is just the right size. In my case, the 27 inch monitor would've been too big and unwieldy.As for performance, I am completely pleased with this monitor, as I was with the previous 20" Samsung . Samsung does know how to build a TV and a computer monitor, for sure. I found a couple of online test patterns that allowed me to set colors, contrast and hues to perfectly match my preferences for viewing. An unexpected plus was the inclusion of a built in 4 port USB hub, which allowed me to discard the old D-Link hub that I had on my desk that was used for connection of my web camera and keyboard.I'm using the HDMI video input, and the image quality is outstanding. The monitor also includes input connections for Dataport and VGA cables. I purchased my own high quality 10' HDMI cable, but a decent HDMI and Dataport cable are included with the monitor. Those cables appear to be about 6' in length. I did not unfurl them to check. A VGA cable is NOT included. THERE ARE NO SPEAKERS IN THIS MONITOR. Sound will need to come from external speakers. I'm using a spare $59 Anker Soundcore bluetooth speaker for sound. It's an absolute beast for such a small and inexpensive package.Some folks will likely dislike the fact that there are no control buttons on the front of the monitor. The power button is located on the BACK of the monitor, at the lower right hand corner. I originally thought that this would be much more inconvenient than it has been. Monitor adjustments are made by moving the power button up/down or left/right. Not a problem for me; YMMV.The monitor comes with a stand that appears to be rather substantial, but I did not use it. Since I was moving the monitor further back on my desk, I bought a separate VESA mounting stand that allows me to raise and position the monitor for an optimum viewing angle. It's worked out great. The VESA pattern on this monitor is 100x100.Considering the fact that I was able to score this monitor on sale at Amazon for $99, this has been a fantastic buy.

Working in front of my Samsung 27-inch monitor while wearing my LOSGAZA T-shirt has made a real difference in my daily routine. The monitor gives me stunning clarity and vibrant colors, perfect for design work and multitasking. At the same time, the LOSGAZA tee keeps me feeling relaxed and comfortable all day. It’s amazing how the right screen and the right shirt can improve focus and mood. A great combo for anyone spending long hours at a desk!

The monitor works well, has good resolution and color. I use it every day and have had no problems. It's easy to set up, is a good size for my desk, and can be adjusted up or down based on preference.

Does NOT have built in-speakers, whoever put that in the description is WRONG! I was planning to use the built in speakers. So now I have to purchase external speakers to listen to sounds generated by my computer. Otherwise, the monitor has USB, HDMI, and Display Port cables provided unlike some of the other monitors. The USB connection is a type A, Not as common. The monitor has a full range of adjustments for height, tilt, rotation and the stand seems moderately stable. I'm Not impressed with Amazon's return policy for restocking, otherwise I may have returned the monitor for one with built-in speakers. I ended up using a set of purchased speakers for sound. I prefer the IPS panel over LCD, so you need to decided which is best for your situation.

Product is as described. No problems. Works great and easy to adjust for height and tilt. Low intensity light setting works well for me.

I normally don't write reviews, but I figured I would for this because I almost didn't purchase based on the reviews. You can mount to VESA. There is a review with pictures showing tabs to remove, this does not need to be done. The tabs are for the included mount if you wish to use it, it helps secure it to the back plate. If you chose to mount on an arm or wall mount then you use the stand off screws that are also included. See my attached picture, there are 4 standoffs, 2 sizes. The longer ones are for the top to compensate for the curve on the back of the monitor. Screw those in and install as normal.Some of the other reviews complain about the length of the included cables.... personally I would never review an electronic item based on the included cables, was happy it came with them at all and they worked fine for my needs. If they were too short for my setup, I would have just replaced them. They are probably 4ft? I have them connected to the back of the monitor, routed through the VIVO pnuematic post mount, and connected right under my stand up desk - so they were perfect length for that. If you have your computer on a side desk or on the floor maybe you need longer cables.The monitor does not have internal speakers - which I knew and didn't want since I'm using externals. I turned on the eye saver, seems to work well.4 main reasons I ordered this particular monitor:1: I wanted a 27" regular, and a 24" vertical setup, but I wanted the screens to match each other so I didn't have different color settings and they would look good next to each other even being different sized screens. This screen is sold in both sizes, so I have one of each and they look great next to each other. Sounds trivial, but it's harder to find than I thought - at this price point.2: I wanted a standard computer power cable on the back so I wouldn't have 2 wall warts to contend with on the underside of my stand-up desk where the power block is.3: Display Port - my Dell laptop for work has a dock that includes 2 display port connections, and 1 HDMI... so I wanted to use the 2 DP ports.4: Borderless. In a perfect world it wouldn't have the bottom silver bezel either, but at this price I'm good with it and it looks decent.I hope this helps someone. Don't take a razor to the back of your new display!
