These have been my favorite soap for a while. Sandalwood is usually a little drying for the skin, but this can be remedied with some lotion after shower. I like the scent of these soaps. They last until the soap is finished. Some other brands I've used, the scent fades about halfway through the soap. But these ones stay. I always get compliments about the smell when I shower with this soap. :)

Having used (and loved) Chandrika Sandal soap for years, I had always wanted to try this Mysore Sandal soap. My preference remains for Chandrika, as to my nose it has a decidedly more authentic sandalwood aroma. I will admit that the Mysore Sandal soap is a prettier bar, and is packaged a bit nicer (the plastic wrapper is sealed vs. just folded). Still and all, I much prefer the Chandrika Sandal soap to the Mysore Sandal soap.

Nice creamy soap, not hard on skin. Not as "crisp" of a sandalwood smell but nice. Will buy again.
