These copters provide hours of fun for the whole family. We first bought them in a souvenir shop. I was happy to find the exact same product on Amazon. They are super easy to assemble and release for flying. Our 6-year old had no trouble at all. They seem to vary in that some are more colorful, some spin more, and some fly higher, regardless of the technique used. It doesn't really matter tho - no one was disappointed and they are so much fun. We cannot wait for a warm night to play again. Next time we will play in the park on or a softer surface; we will not fly them in the street as they can have a hard landing which caused one of our copters to crack too quickly.

Sparkle in the sky
These are fun and the fact that you can launch and re-launch these made me realize I didn't have to buy so many. I had mistakenly thought they would light only once. It was amusing the first few times. Guessing a child would find themselves fascinated for longer. No flame. Nuthin dangerous...if you aim high and then launch.

A cheap and dangerous knockoff

The rubber launcher shoots the whole device directly at your thumb, and this little thing packs enough momentum to break fingernails and make you bleed when you inevitably smack yourself in the fingers.The real flash copter comes with a Y-shaped slingshot, so you can't hit your fingers. This knockoff is not safe for anyone, especially children!If this were a real flash copter, 4 for $10 would be a great deal. The knockoff is being returned.

Fun for the whole family
These things are super FUN! My kids love them. I've had no problem with this brand. I've read the reviews of other brands and decided on this one. I do not regret it! They come ready to go with batteries. We take ours to the beach at night, they are super bright. My 6yr old has a problem launching them, maybe 8yr + would be ok.
