I love this book. I has a step by step approach but unlike some some step by step books I have this hasn’t taken the approach of combining what should have been several steps into one just to fit it all on one page. In fact each finished piece is spread over 4 whole pages and is easy to follow. That said I would still highly recommend you did as I and follow the authors first book kawaii doddle class and follow that before jumping into this.This book is a class in how to put it all together into a finished piece, it doesn’t give you the step by step to drawing each monster or food item first that’s not what this book is for, this book assumes you can draw a mushroom for example from start to finish already but it shows you how to take your one mushroom and combine it with several others and some decorations and turn it into a finished full fleshed out art piece.

Bought as a gift for a child. Looks easy to follow and gives lots of ideas to add to pictures as skills improve.

I have been following this artist online for a few years and I have the other 2 how to books from this artist and this one is even better! Super cute pictures to doodle, good tips and step by steps, already been doodling a bit and put it right next to the other books!Great for beginners and fun for professionals too!

We loved this super cute Kawaii doodle book. The book many consisted on how to combine kawaii doodles into a larger collective piece of art. The instructions were easy to follow for both myself and my 10 year old and we produced some really fun art work using this book. I would definitely recommend for fans of Kawaii art and drawing

My daughter already owns Kawaii Doodle Class (which she loves) but in all honesty I was a little sceptical that this would likely be very similar/ samey content. In this, I was completely wrong!This is a fantastic book. Where the previous book focussed on step by step drawing of kawaii characters, this helps you bring the drawings up to the next level by planning full page layouts with ideas for additional decorations and patterns that can be used to give your drawings a more professional finish. I can see many weekends of doodling together coming up.I recieved an Advanced Review Copy of this book for my honest review but can definitely say that I will be purchasing a hard copy of this for my daughter when it is released (and probably for several of her friends' birthdays too).

Im learning to sketch and doodle as part of my mindfulness and this book is perfect, a wonderfguide for the beginner like me, easy to follow, great instructions and perfect clear and cute illustrations. Brilliant book for the artists in your life or for yourself
