Backrack 91006 Light Bar Bracket - 2 Piece, Black

These light brackets are awesome. Allowed for easy install on the backrack. I had to drill holes for the light I purchased but with new drill bits install was simple. Highly recommend.

Quality product, comes with all the hardware needed for most lightbars. Word of caution, when using with Whelen full size Lightbars - You need an adapter to the bar from these mounts, which can run $50+. I fabricated by own with angled aluminum and bolts for $10.

Great add on to a back rack. The placement is going to be a problem for most lightbars, but with a little finagling you can get them to work. Saves a ton of time welding or machining pieces to add light accessories to. Could also be adapted easily to smaller lights.

Used this on a homemade second hand back rack and they mounted perfect to it the only issue I had was possibly due to my own error or the fact that the lightbar I had was also second hand but the holes didn't line up to the Whelen light brackets. I used a different style I had on hand and still needed to drill out one of the holes slightly to make it work. Overall with no ability to weld up or bend my own custom set these worked well enough.

overall, after getting them installed, i found that the brackets are more like a 88 degree angle. Once i clamped them to my backrack, and put my lightbar on, they "sagged" a little. it was an easy fix honestly. they are very well built with all the right hardware you need for propper mounting. i have an Abrams 37 inch thundereye, and the mounts dont fit my lightbar 100%..... only reason it has 3 stars and not 2, if for the solid build of the bracket. they are solid steel and do not bend with a heavy bar, or when hitting a bump.reccomendations for the brackets: more size options for different types of lightbars
