Clive Barker's Jericho - Xbox 360

Swift shipping at an affordable price! I am a HUGE Clive barker fan, so I had to obtain a copy of this game! The game came in great condition and the shipping was swift with no issues. I would also suggest you obtain a copy for the 360 instead of the PS3. I have played both versions for both systems and the graphics on the 360 are by far sharper and clearer.

great story, good gameplay, its only weak point is the length of history .. but still excellent.

Jericho doesn't have the extensive playability as some of the big titles out today do, but it is definitely one game that I'm glad I didn't miss out on! Jericho's dark and twisted atmosphere keeps you wondering what mutated form will be lurking around the next corner, while each character's unique set of weapons and magical skills keeps your mind running to figure out which combination of force to use to survive each horrifying encounter. Grab this game as soon as you can, and enjoy! :)

Clive Barker's Jericho is a first person shooter horror game that has good graphics and a great storyline from Clive Barker and Codemasters. This game is for mature players (blood and gore, strong language, sexual themes and intense violence parents should be aware) and I will honestly say this isn't for everyone who are into FPS games, there isn't much in the way of exploration. It is a very linear game but as far as atmosphere and story goes I found it to be very enjoyable. I'm a big Barker fan and this was one of the first games I bought when I got my xbox and regreted trading it in later on. The game's plot is that when God was trying to create life for the first time he created something that was neither man nor woman and resembled a child. Called the first born it had the power of that of God himself and God was not pleased with his creation so he locked the first born away in a pit on earth. Becoming angered at being cast aside so God could create humans, the first born has tried over the centuries to escape. Using the humans to try and create a rift so it could leave its cell, the first born has been banished back into its hole while taking a part of the human's own time line with it causing layers within the prison. I won't give away too much of the story but the game starts in present day and a new storm has risen as the first born is trying to escape once again. The player journeys as the Jericho squad, a special forces group specializing in the paranormal, through each layer of the first born's prison. With each level complete or achievements gained the player is awarded with files being unlocked that can be accessed at the title screen that explains characters and places within the game which help build the story. As I said this game isn't for everyone but if you enjoy Clive Barker's work and a good horror game give it a try. The price is great and its a good game to have in any Clive Barker collection.

Nothing against the seller that shipped the game to me, I got it quick and it's in great condition. But after playing this game for about a half hour, I realized I was having absolutely no fun at all. The story is random and uninteresting, and the characters are boring. Maybe that's because there's seven of them, talk about an oversized cast. I guess so that's you can play as each and have different experiences as you play, but it doesn't help that the whole team is all crowded together in a hallway or chasm while more and more exploding enemies keep coming and they think it's a good idea to keep rushing them. Since the first character you play is the healer, and the other healer likes to bum rush exploding enemies too, look forward to constantly trying to heal your idiotic teammates while more walking powderkegs are sprinting towards you. The weapons so far are yawn-inducing. How in the world did they make an assault rifle/auto shotgun dull to use? I may have paid for this game, but I doubt I'll be throwing it back in the 360 anytime soon. I know I probably won't be able to unload on somebody else either, I don't think my conscience would allow me anyway. Jericho, Thumbs WAY down.

I should begin by stating that I am not really a fan of first-person shooters, and the fact that I enjoyed this game as much as I did should say something about how great it is. I have been a huge Clive Barker fan for many years, so when I found out that he was involved in the creation of this game, I had to try it. I was slightly worried about all the negative reviews, many of which made some valid points about the flaws of this game. I can honestly say that I DID spend quite a lot of time healing the members of my squad, and I died many times throughout the course of the game. Certain parts frustrated me to the point where I turned it off for a few hours, but I always came back for more. The graphics are not the best, but they are more than good enough to convey the dark, disturbing world you find yourself in. It is beautifully sick and twisted in a way that only Clive Barker could accomplish. I won't say it's scary per se, but it was pleasantly disturbing. The story is great, although the ending could have been better. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, and would have given it 5/5, but I felt that there were a couple flaws that prevented it from being perfect. It took me a while to figure out how to play effectively with all of the squad members, and there were parts in the beginning that were too dark for me to see clearly, even with the flashlight. I also feel it would have been better if it wasn't first-person. All in all though, I would definitely recommend this game to any Clive Barker fan, or anyone who enjoys supernatural horror-themed games.

他の人が書いてる通り、世界観、映像の美しさ、どれをとっても素晴らしい作品だと思いました。 ストーリーや、6人いる主役のキャラクター達の個性も良く出来ていて、本当に最後まで楽しめました。 ただ、難易度が簡単すぎます。headにしても簡単すぎてちょっと残念でした...。その上ストーリーが短いのであっという間に終わってしまいます。もう少しあの素晴らしい世界観に浸っていたいのに...って感じです。

Einfach ein Meisterwerk solche Spiele sucht man heute mit Der Lupe. Die Charaktere die Story das Level Design und die Atmosphäre sind meines Erachtens einfach nur grandios .

these hidden gems are hide to find but they are the best of the xbox 360 games! really good fps horror!
