Perfect little tool.
This is a plastic tool or shim with a ferrous or steel bolt designed to pull away the Neo 2 or 2T steel disc from the main body. The removable disc has 24 neodymium magnets that attracts itself to the main body that has 24 copper coils with steel plate ends that produces the resistance in the trainer. Installation is very simple. Folow instructions to remove the freehub body and steel ring at the bottom of the spindle or shaft. Remove every other bolt (3) from the center plate around the steel shaft. You attach the 3 screws to the plastic ring, it doesn't have to be tight. You insert the steel bolt clockwise to tightened, this force pushes the disc away from the unit. Once the nut is about 1/4" from the plastic shim or tool, you should be able to pull the disk out. There are many online videos to guide you.

Works on Neo 1 too
I've had my Neo 1 for about 4 yrs and it started making a metallic sound inside the flywheel. The magnets inside do pickup debris over time so you have to remove the flywheel and wipe them off. it was a super easy process. Just note when you put the flywheel back on the magnets are strong and will basically pull it back into place rapidly! I was stoked this worked on the Neo 1 as they don't really advertise it that way. This is made of strong plastic and comes with the bolts you need.

Tacx Neo 2T Disk Extractor
The tool worked as it was designed and was easier to use than I expected. Basically, the center bolt screws against the trainer and pulls the disk away from the magnets. You have to be careful putting the disk back on because the magnets are powerful enough that if you are not careful the disk will snap back in place on its own (with a great deal of force). It's best to control it by reverse screwing the center bolt.
