can this be uaed with a hand drill

DO NOT USE IN A HAND DRILL !!! It will jump out and torque around...hand drill not slow or stable enough. YOU WILL GET INJURED - AND THE HOLE WILL NOT BE ROUND!!

Can it be used on light gage steel?

Yes...if you are careful to keep the material flat on a backer board. And remember this cutter is to be used only on a drill press. I have used these cutters to cut instrument holes in .090 aluminium.

can I cut a 120mm hole in acrylic glass of my computer case??

I have successfully cut both 1/4" and 1/8" thick acrylic with this cutter. Your drill press should be set to it's lowest speed, and the cutter advanced into the work as slowly as possible. If you have the material available, sandwich the acrylic between a piece if 1/4" plywood, mdf or similar materiel on top with a thicker backer board of the same or similar material on the bottom. Clamp the sandwich assembly to the drill press table. The sandwich will help flatten the acrylic if it is warped, and lessen the possibility edge fracture from the cutter. Progressively finer grits of sandpaper may be used to dress up the edges of the cut.

Does the cutter blade ship with this tool, or must it be ordered separately? It's confusing with the blade "ghosted" in the photo, etc.

Includes the blade. This is a good tool. I cut 20 3 1/2 inch holes in 1" Trex, which is really hard. That dulled the tool by the end of the job. Tools are available all over and can also be resharpened.
